  1. so you're doing a fwd conversion on a z? yeah, thats inventive alright...
  2. do you have the turbo dizzy? if so what year and how much? pm me... thanks
  3. windows - worst feature headlights - better feature engine - best feature
  4. wow, there are alot more z's over there than i thought! Nice pics!
  5. even with my urethene one, my car sits high enough (eibach prokit) that even when I pull over a curb, the dam goes over it with an inch of clearance. very convenient if you ask me
  6. are you sure the 5 speed that came with the car is the same year as your car? It could easily be a zx tranny, which I think has a slightly smaller OD. All ID's should be the same, as they all use the same drive shaft.
  7. lol Nice way of keepin it ol' skool btw: is that a front sump pan off a maxima? or is it just a rear sump pan flipped around? What did you do to the block (or oil pickup) to convert it to front sump?
  8. why did you take off the headlight covers? why did you put on rear window louvers? (your car looks like sonic the hedgehog now!) CF hood and tires look great though!
  9. Maybe you should do a 1jz swap into a z? It seems you are already familiar with the engine, so you are half way there! btw that sr20de looks HUGE in that roadster.
  10. Dont forget all the alternator and starter wiring on the passengers side of the block. Make sure nothing got disconnected, or the battery broke a connection loose when it fell. Other than that it sounds like your car and a multimeter are going to have a good relationship in the near future
  11. i think it translates to "i'm not positive i can run this cam." edit: would it be wise to switch my internally oiled n42 cam for an externaly oiled one, when I upgrade cams, or should i just regrind an n42 and keep the internal oiling?
  12. How do you tune for nitrous? I would probably use this feature and install a dry kit, let MS take care of the extra fueling needs. Can you still use an O2 sensor, or do you need something more elaborate to tune when the car is on nitrous?
  13. truth is you can't. you have to weld brackets to your strut towers and bolt in a bar/ghetto rig whatever you do, to build your tower brace. Unless, you run a biscuit type camber plate, that actually bolts to the original holes, and maintains the three bolt patttern, in which case, you will still have 3 bolts to bolt your tower brace to.
  14. get on chat, i'll try to answer some of your questions
  15. lol as long as I stay N/A i'll be unique... everyone with z's in houston has a turbo. PM me your cell number if your planning on going to the next UH one so we can actually meet up. was your car the one that had that dancing doll on it? i don't remember if that was a blazer or a suburban or something.
  16. ah, sorry I missed you. It would have been nice to talk to someone who actually knew about z cars. When I told one of the 350z owners that I had an old school Z car he replied with, "oh like a first gen. 350z?"... yeah, not exactly my crowd. I'll try to stay closer to my car next time (that meet was huge!)
  17. I guess I tried to make the car look good in the pictures, because the paintjob barely shines and its starting to crack away oh well, it looks good in the pictures!!!

    McLaren SLR vs Me

1.340 rt vs. .225rt. you beat the mclaren off the lineby more than a second, which makes you a better driver, and thus, clearly more deserving of the car than the current driver.
