Tried fishing the last few times I went to the beach..... I hate it... instead of relaxing, I get pissed from sitting there for hours and not catching $h!t...

I really like the rear panel.... front is pretty good.... don't lika the doors though.. too "ricey" IMO

even with a 1.8 and a 2200 lb car ??

I will be putting the ZX strut assemblies on my 510... Will this fit the bill also... (cause I gotsa have some when they go in) also.. where did you get your threaded tubes ??

Owners manual won't have squat about the inner workings of the Z Only general maintenace.

If its that close, could you not find someone to complete it for you ?? It might be work the money to have that done instead of selling an unfinished car.

I second... (or third) that.. The first car I bought was a '78 280Z when I was 16. It has plenty of power for starting out.. learn the car and its capabilities before you get more power than you can handle safely at that age.

Never seen one of those before... I have to admit, it has some sexy body lines.

I remember the 510 concept... I would definately buy it, if it looked like his drawings.

Choke is opening fully... someone mentioned the power valve might be stuck slightly open... I am going to put another carb in and see what the results are.. That would eliminate 1 factor.

Would the front sump version have worked at all ??

I am considering this swap in the 510 wagon that I picked up...after the rest of the car is finished.. Any particular reason you used the center sump version ??

Float seems to be right on the line in the glass.. Should I try "tweeking" the float ??? Or could it be something else?

Ok. Here is another problem on a different car. This is on the 510 wagon I drove back from Utah. I only get about 25 mpg and you can tell it is running pretty rich. I checked the vacuum, ignition timing and changed the coil. Still running rich. It has a stock looking hitachi carb, (rebuilt). It has an L18 in it. When you come to a stop and start to go again, it has a stumble right off idle. That is the only time it acts up. It idles fine, doesn't miss. It seems to be a little lacking on power though escpecially in the upper rpm range. Is it possible the cam timing is off ?

Well, it wasn't the head... Valves were a little tight but we lapped them back in and it is still doing it when we put it back together. Compression test was fine about 130 on all cylinders. Do you think the oil rings may be stuck ??

Did you see the size of the front calipers on that sucker ?? jeez as for the test track guy.... no helmet..... hmmmm

I have looked also... None that are as helpful as this forum though.
