  1. It should be a quickie ! http://hotrod.com/projectbuild/hdrp_0605_pontiac_solstice_project_v8_engine_build/
  2. I might have to run up there... its right up the road.. When is it???
  3. I think the nose is too short on the trucks for the L6...
  4. I can't remember doing anything as rediculous as that......EVER !... I think I'm gonna hurl.
  5. and that is why it is so expensive to get stuff chromed........
  6. I think if you could fab up a modest turbo for that LD, you would like it much better..
  7. Also works good if your clutch or your slave cylinder goes out...
  8. Or a tranquilizer dart that fires from under the seat into their buttocks
  9. I noticed it this past weekend... The new guys suck, they are trying too hard to make them seem "Cool" ... I liked Stacey David better... I actually don't even care too much for Trucks!... but he made it interesting.. I guess I'll wait until his new show comes up..
  10. I've never seen one with the top of the headlight cover painted... I bet it has a nice effect at night...
  11. If I am not mistaken, the standard 4 speeds are pretty much identical to the 5 speed.... without the overdrive.. Except for the T-5 that came with the ZX.
  12. That show sucked... I liked the fact that they had Z's on there.... but the rest of it was CRAP.
  13. Just noticed the thread... My condolences to you and your family.
  14. Any interior parts ?? Specifically the plastic panels under the dash.
  15. The Black Beauty stuff works good... Garnet seems to have a longer lifespan... but its a little more expensive. Not much though...
  16. Almost sounds like the TPS is wet, or possibly the fuse links (seen that happen also)
  17. I think they mean by the "REDUCE THE COMMON JUMPING NOISES" is by the additional spring. That smaller spring is probably just a spring to keep compression on the system when it is at full droop. My thoughts anyway...
  18. There are a few of us in the western / piedmont side... not sure about the coastal areas though :/
  19. Nice !! I love that pull away at the 2:11 mark
  20. I would fall into the loner group also. The last time I built the Z, I did it completely alone. (though it sucked putting in a tranny that is lying on your chest and while I am lying on my back on the cold driveway when it doesn't want to go in ) 98% of it was done at night. I can think better and get more accomplished when its quiet and no one to interrupt me. I have a neighbor that wants to help when its time to tune the Haltech. With the family, business, and other obligations.. I have to make time to work on it, but when I do make time, I stay on it until I am exhausted.
