  1. Some of them have rocks in their heads..
  2. Its off a '77 (N47 if I'm not mistaken)
  3. I had a similar incident... I was driving along one way.... it started to pour down rain..... I started up a hill..... the rear tires broke loose.... car came around and slid sideways in a ditch (going backwards) the louvers did the same as JoeinCA's did, smacked the roof and dented it...
  4. I switched to a cable.... pics are in here
  5. Good to hear its working..... Hopefully mine will be coming online in the next week of so. (crossing fingers)
  6. Thats odd, I have a Metrinch set I bought 4 years ago and use them as my main tool set... I haven't had any problems out of them.. (and they have taken quite a beating ) I like them mainly because I don't have to search for metric or standard tools what whatever I am working on.... I just grab the Metrinch set.. maybe there was a flaw in the extention ??? As far as Craftsman power tools.... Yes they are complete CRAP! I have a lawn mower and weedeater that I bought about 2 years ago and they have both failed.. I finally got the Mower to work , but the weedeater still won't.....
  7. jmortensen, I agree with you.... there are many gurus on this site with expertise in those areas. Besides the layout of zcar.com's forum, and a couple of the other forums that tend to be a bit purist, that was the reasoning behind creating the forum.. I don't want to be in competition with Hybridz at all, If it wasn't for the people here, I would still have unanswered questions.. I don't want to jeopardize my welcome here by no means. If I could get some feedback over there on how it should be setup, that would be fine with me... even the scheme of the forum.. I wanted it to be of help to whomever needs it... I can't recall how many emails I have gotten asking questions in the past... before many of the forums popped up... If you do have a problem with the forum just let me know.... And if the moderators here have a problem with anything, please let me know...
  8. Just a thought... Is there somewhere in the games option screen to enable the controller?. Usually its default is the keyboard or mouse, you may have to change it there. I have never been a fan of USB mice or controllers. I usually stick to the game port of the sound card.. or the serial port..
  9. I also didn't like the setup at zcar.com, So created a forum a couple months ago mainly for the L6. Not to steal anything from Hybridz ( I love this place ) but you are welcome to post L6 and general Z topics there, there is also a gallery for pics.... You can have a look here http://www.cruez.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl
  10. As soon as I get my maxi fuse dist block, I am getting rid of the fusible links.... They are a PITA
  11. I basically did what SleeperZ did.... I got the finned rail from someone here on the forum.... can't remember exactly who (I lost my PM's)
  12. Cruez

    WOW...

Come home from work and the site has shrunk Guess the consolidation is taking place.
  13. Well, Mine's simple enough, just like in my sig...http://www.cruez.com
  14. Very nice.... I also would like to see a writeup of it....
  15. Boobala, That first one sounds great... I have messed around with guitars a little..got an electric and an acoustic.. My playing style is more rhythm than lead so I tend to play it acoustic more often.... or play the electric clean.
  16. 22k raise Congrats on the new position..
  17. Make sure the sensor on the passenger side of the engine is connected correctly, or it will run rich and crappy...
  18. Neat little cars.... a little cramped if you are tall.. but I don't think a L6 is going to fit in there....V8 maybe... but not an L6...
  19. Here is the completed fuel rail with hoses....forgot to attach one of the clamps near the fan all except the vacuum line which just connects to the intake.. I custom built my rail... I just made two brackets to to attach to two of the screw holes in the intake, its hard to see them because I had them powder coated the same as the intake.... then put two screws in the bottom of the fuel rail to help hold it in place (although the fuel lines were probably sufficent enough to hold it there)
  20. N/A setup... 10.4:1 comp Haltech E6 Shaved intake 240sx TB etc.. I don't need any of the stock vacuum lines (ie, distributor, egr, etc..) Just for the pressure regulator, brakes, and MAP sensor..
  21. Ok, I want to keep the pcv system... What about the two different sized ends?...any ideas? And if I keep the pcv sys... I am assuming I should block off the vent for the valve cover...right?? since I have no termination point for it anymore...
  22. oh ..that Its actually my Datsun pick em up truck for trash and etc.... Paid a whopping $400 for it.... and the 4wd works
