  1. The ignition relay is under the dash glove box. Are you talking about the fuseable links?
  2. I've got the car now. When I get around to it I've got everything I need to swap it to Analog. It's easy peasy - just need the analog pigtail in the dash and the gauge cluster....
  3. A turbo roughly cuts the exhaust volume by 1/3. A straight pipe is still going to be quite loud. If you want volume go with a round can - an oval can gives you a reduced volume compared to the round. I think running without at least a round can is just gonna get you pulled over by the cops all the time...
  4. I picked up the last one from Rockauto a few weeks ago...
  5. What about running a secondary board with opto couplers to drive the coils? What are you doing for shielding/grounding on those lines?
  6. Just charge them for your time and materials and they'll wish they paid for the flat rate install....
  7. There is a lot of info and it's hard to dig through all the rubble on here however there is always the constant asking of questions that have been answered. It's tough but you really need to dig hard to get the info on this forum - 99.999% of the question asked have been answered. That said if you do go with a high compression turbo build - run a methanol system (and of course maximize the efficency of your turbo system which is WAY to broad to reply to). All the L series are prone to knocking and this IMHO is a game changer on the L28s...
  8. Gee and I was gonna recomend Trojan rubbers....
  9. Good luck with the project. Nice to see another S130 revived. A 3†exhaust is a great upgrade on a turbo car - hardly a micro project though lol
  10. Just ask him for the msq file - you'll want to have it anyhow....
  11. Nice! What colour blue is that? Was the car tunes on a dyno? I'd love to see the Mega Square map...
  12. Rota Grid Classics? What size tires?
  13. We have a V3 but both Byron and I have been swamped. It's still in the works but we're on hold until both of us can get some free time.
  14. Looks like a fiberglass fender with the dealer option aluminium lower trim
  15. MS3 isn't any more complicated than MS 1 or 2. It does have a lot of nice features and requires less modification as the extra features are already built in. You're right though - figure out what you need because buying features you won't use is a waste of money. Personally I like the flexibility of a more comprehensive system, USB, SD card, etc and I always build my own kits so that keeps the price down a fair amount. Aftermarket is really the way to go since you'll be able to tune all your mods, etc.
  16. Yes I have all the kits in stock right now as well as connectors to do the 87-89 Z31 cars.
  17. Check the valve train before you jump to conclusions. You might just need to adjust the lash. I dunno if you could skip a tooth on the timing chain doing that ...
  18. Ignition module would be my first guess although a duff coil can do the same thing...
  19. Isn't the stock hood 54lbs (I think I read that on John C's web page) Are all the bumpers the same (eg 1979-1981 vs 1982-1983). I know the marker lights in the bumpers are not so...
  20. Redline MT90 is the go to for the Nissan tranny. The 350Z and 370Z use the MT85 - not sure if anyone has experimented with that in the early Nissan trannys....
  21. The temp gauge for MS (and the stock ECU) should be the CHTS which is different than the sensor on the thermostat housing for the temp gauge...
  22. K Sports are generally regarded as junk....
  23. www.xenons130.com and download the FSM
