  1. an rb26 with upgraded injectors and a booste controller set to 15psi will pump out 400hp to the wheels no problem. how much to build a 400 RWhp V-8? an rb20 sr20, and rb25 will generate that kind of power but with lots more money invested probably around 5000 too.

  3. my halfshafts are different lengths left one is shorter.
  4. everything you want to know can be found either in this forum or the alternative motors forum use the search option with key words like oil pan, fuel, transmision ect ect. oh by the way you need a r33 gtst 5 speed tranny unless you plan on doing a lot of cutting to get the gtr tranny in there.

HKS turbo....3800.00 1000cc HKS injectors... 1300.00 full exhaust.... 800.00 Booste controller....500.00 10 gal of race gas....60.00 the look on the owner of a (insert exotic sports car here) as you pass him look a red headed step child driving a civic.....priceless
  6. although there were a tad bit too many stickers on the cars.... this is not rice. This is what is causing rice in the US. most of these cars can probably run 10-11 sec 1/4 mile times. It requires alot of HP to step the tail upt going that fast ;> and if the definition of rice holds true rice = a bunch of nonfunction engine, light and bodywork mods. The cars that had wings were more then likely functional

  8. i found some play in my rear suspension that i am concerned about. the left rear control arm has forward and aft play (horizontal) I looked into it further and found that the left inboard rear contrrol arm bushing is moving inside the mount???? all the others are tight and the mount in question is tight. the bushing inside just moves. All the bushings are new and show no visible wear. anyone ever had this problem before???
  9. if your tach goes crazy it is probably something electrical. check all of your connections on the engine something light be loose.

  11. first test and tune is may 11... hope to have to the dyno atleast by then would like to run at the track by then but we will see. the cv swap is still at the shop getting caliper brackets made should be done in a week or so. should also have my axles back from the driveshaftshop.com ;>

  14. oh by the way. i dynod at 392 rwhp at 15 psi booste and 680cc injectors. increased my mph to 127 but slowed to 11.2 due to a 2.0 sec 60foot trying no to break a halfshaft ;> here are some pics of cuongs car you can see more at 240z.org just search for cuong in teh gallery

  18. sds is the cheapest easiest to tune with that send its almost too simple. no datalogging;< very easy to tune on a dyno

  20. even with the fender cutout if i set the car lower then stock the bfgs will rub the fender. I shopuld have cut them out further
  21. ok here's mine. I may be mistaken but 275x50x15 are 26 inches tall I have mine on 10 inch wide 15 inche wheels with 5.5 inch backspacing. and as you can see they fit just right (with zg flares and the 1/4 cut out about an inch above teh stock fender lip all the way around. I think if you stuck with the BFG DR (new one) youll be happy and not require body mods. I dont think that big of a tire will fit inbetween teh strut and stock fender lip without rubbing HARD!!!
  22. 392rwhp at 15psi stock turbos stock size trust intercooler and 680cc injectors at 85% duty for about a second in 4th gear.
