  1. That depends on what you want... Top end speed? Or off the line speed?
  2. Kinda looks like burnt plastic to me. Definitely not the "clear euro" look most people go for.
  3. Doooood!!! No teasing! You gotta post pics with the mod list! Now I gotta wait.....
  4. Welcome to Hybridz! Call up your local driveshaft repair shop & ask for a quote... depending on the complexity and time, prolly $50 - $300.
  5. There shouldn't be a difference between 2seater & 2+2 T5's.... I have a T5 from both and I know they have the same output splines because I've interchanged them. Do you need a 2seater or 2+2 length driveshaft? On my original turbo project my donor was a 2seater, my car was a 2+2... I took the driveshaft to a local driveshaft shop, and for $100 they lengthened & balanced it for me. Took less than 24 hours too.
  6. All those police vids shown on TV are doctored. I love the screeching tire sound from a helicoper view... because a camera can pick up tire sounds from 1000 feet in the air, over the chopper noise. Oh... and the loud tire screeching on a dirt road chase is good too!
  7. uh... maybe if you hold the nozzle right to the plastic for a few minutes...
  8. Here's another thread taking about Z prices: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=128069
  9. You should be able to use any 280zx relay in it's place... It's green to make it easier to find.
  10. Why not buy a new one from AutoZone / NAPA for less than $20? You've torn all the way in there, might as well buy some cheap insurance.
  11. budget coil overs = grind struts, weld perches / thread plates, install springs.
  12. Where are you getting your "understanding" from? I'm not saying it's wrong, but I'd like to research that more...
  13. yeah... carbs are really efficient. That's why all car makers still use them today... [/sarcasm] Why would you have to delete the "drive by wire?"
  14. Too late now... sounds like he already took it apart.
  15. You know that's a cartoon pic right? I can draw up a wicked air dam... doesn't mean it exists.
  16. ANYTHING is doable... with the right amount of knowledge, time, and money. What you should be asking: IS IT REALISTIC? IS IT WORTH IT?
  17. Have you checked in the Haynes manual or FSM?
  18. Go for it then. Just seems like a waste trying to get that to work when you can get a Z31T diff and drop it right in. You'll spend more time and money getting all the parts you'll need to make it work than going w/ an R200 CLSD. Whatever toots your horn eh?
  19. Do you have mad fab skills and tons of free time on your hands???
  20. If you want a larger cam just for the lopey exhaust, build an n/a motor. Turbo cams are setup different than n/a.
  21. Lemme help ya out here... PS... Next to your pics in Photobucket are html links to the pic... clicky and it's copied. PSS... Unless you are a turbo expert, don't risk rebuilding it yourself. Take it to a turbo shop.
