Just don't ruin it by putting in a Camaro engine! Striping on blueovalz's car. I think ithe stripes looks great, and I think you should continue them over the top as well. I'm not so sure about doing the side stripes and the stripes on the top, but it's your car to do with as you please.

Bryan, I got a stainless steel unit that you can see at the bottom of this pic just in front of the AC compressor. I don't recall the exact size, but it's pretty fairly large.

Do you need to have 275's...well no, but do you need a V8 in a Z? If you're like me, I'd be pissed if I put on a set of wheels and tires and found out I could've gone bigger. ZROSSA, you could have just bought smaller tires instead of requiring all the extra time to add flares. My 275's fit just fine and I'm darn glad I bought them. I removed the springs like Mikelly did and there is no rubbing on the rears, but I have 18's and I think they can sit farther inward than 17's due to the angle of the struts. The only rub I had is on the front and I think I got that licked now.

It was reading around 31 PSI before I installed the upgraded wiring. Since the fuel pressure appears to be correct, the stock fuel lines must be sufficient so I'm going to stick with them for a while at least. I'm going to continue to drive it around and see how it runs before I do any other mod's to the engine, fuel system, etc. I want to work on the body next and get her painted ASAP.

I finally hooked up the fuel pressure gauge and rigged it up on the outside of the windshield so I can monitor the pressure while I'm driving. With the new wiring the fuel pressure looks good. It runs around 45 at idle and about 50 under acceleration. I hadn't driven my car for a while and it felt realy good to drive it around. The initial problem is almost non-existant and it may in fact be resolved. I think the fuel pressure wiring was the problem and the aftermarket wiring kit gave me the voltage my aftermarket Walbro pump needed. Perhaps the plugs need to be cleaned and the BLMs need to be relearned from driving around with low fuel pressure for so long.

Looks nice. Why didn't you want the engine to sit off to the passenger's side like the stocker and other kits do? Are you going to run into problems with the transmission and driveline alignment? Keep us updated on your progress.

I found out through my boot install that there are basically three models of Q45 CV's 94 and under, 95-96, and 97 and up; and one of the differences is the outside diameter of the CV housings.

Is this in general or specific to this application? I have heated sensors, but they are located several feet downstream from my heads. Could this be an issue on my installation?

I recently replaced one of my CV boots and found out that the CV housings are different sizes based on the model year donor vehicle you get them from. Could it be that you have the smaller housings and the end stops won't fit in them?

I still haven't completely resolved the issue and I haven't been spending any time on it as I've been working on finishing a room addition for my daughter. I bought a spare PCM recently as well as an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and a fuel pressure gauge with a hose so that I can monitor pressure while I'm driving. I just need to get around to working on it again.

The picture you posted looks like complete subframe connectors made from rectangular steel tubing. It also looks like most of the holes are in the top part of the connectors. If you go this route, it would probably be fine to add holes to the top (something like Pete's frame rails http://alteredz.com/structuralmods.htm), but the Bad Dog units are slip on and I don't think you want to put holes in them.
