  1. Mine is like that as well. I see it as a good reason to convert to a fiberglass hatch and pins.
  2. I can't believe you stuck out with the car. I'm amazed when people bring a car with rust like that back to the road.
  3. The speedo is mechanical so there should be a cable running to the trans. The HVAC system is more than likely vacuum controlled, and all the vacuum lines rotted and gone or missing. Rear defroster is probably toast from old age, the wires that run across are more than likely broken from either being cut from scrapping tint off or just oxidation. There won't be an off the shelf adapter to the radio, so you're going to need to elarn how to wire it in yourself (not hard, great way to learn electrical). As for the headlight, it may just be a burn filament. I'd check for voltage on the connector.
  4. Drift tax, been on the rise since 2010
  5. Is there anyone else making quality fiberglass or carbon fiber parts such as a hatch and hood?
  6. You're going to need to roll the fenders. I'm pretty sure it will fit because I see 15x9's 0 and 15x8 -12 is the same outer measurement. It will probably look something like these cars: http://forums.hybridz.org/topic/101433-rota-shakotans-anyone-running-them/
  7. Looking for msotly the MM brackets that allow you to use s13 rear rotors and brackets, but will take maxima brackets or complete kits. PM me a price. Shipping would be to 91505.
  8. Put some marvel mystery oil in the cylinders and attempt to rotate with a breaker bar
  9. Got them from dangerdan. Thank you you guys
  10. Looking to get all the corner lights for my 240z, fronts didn't come with the car and one of the rears is broken. I'm looking for the whole assembly: housing, lens, chrome trim and plastic with the pigtail on it. Mainly looking for the front two, but would be interested if you have the rears also for a good price. PM me or text me at 818-919-4242 with pictures. Would need to be shipped to 91505.
  11. An aftermarket downpipe would probably not make that exhaust a bolt in affair, and if you have to fab something, might as well have an exhaust shop make the whole exhaust from the turbo back. It would probably be cheaper also. Last I heard pat does still make and sell the rear sump pans.
  12. Just curious, but what tire brand has those sizes? Unless you're going slicks, there is almost no selection for tires in a 15" diameter wider than 225. At least readily available cheap tires. And you can fit 15x9's under stock metal, no flares needed. So if you're going flare will need a lower offset
  13. What size and width? and you should look at the wheels subsection and look through all the posts to get an idea of if they will.
  14. Hey guys I'm getting ready to head back to FL to pick up my car. It is still not running and I'm looking for a transporter. I was just wondering if anyone has any specific companies they have used that are cheap, or if anyone has a friend that would like to do this for me. I'm getting quotes ranging from $600-850 and I'm really shooting for a $700 range. I've already put my info online and I'm getting calls out the wazoo, with many people asking for deposits. Is this normal also?
  15. If not running it, at least get a drill and spin the oil pump.
  16. Why do you need a cold start in fl lol. Are you just using it as a "warm up"
  17. I went with an innovate lc1. My choice was either the innovate or this one, but i got the innovate off a board member brand new for $120 so I decided. Only difference I can spot is the free air calibration. This was also on an L28E
  18. The coilovers that were on my S13 were KTS (what SPL parts are now). They rode pretty stiff, but the damping knob on one of the fronts was broke off so it was stuf at like 8 clicks hard (out of 15) rears were good. They were 8 and 6 just like my Kei office, and I got them for a steal ($250 plus my stock springs and shocks). I was planning on trying to use them in my 280zx, but the thread pitch of the shock tubes was different. Anyway, things have changed. I've moved to Cedar Rapids, IA. Sold the S13 to put a down payment on this: Which promply got this: Tomei full titanium exhaust to bring out that Subaru sound, and save like 30 lbs of weight. and then a lot of this:
  19. You can get them new here: http://www.arizonazcar.com/pan.html
