  1. This is awesome because know i have good info on what I would need if I got flares (a 17x9.5 0 offset would stick out about an inch, which is awesome for flares). Looks fantastic also.

  3. Hey 88dangerdan, is that the ZCC wing or the retro spec wing? I read that the angles are different on them.
  4. Well is it an f54 with flattops or dished pistons. And to get it moving, just oil it for about 3-4 days, then use a 3ft breaker bar on the crank. That combo will be about 10:1 comp which is good paired with a decent cam. What are you using for induction? EFI or carbs? I had that combo with a set of triple webers and a stage 3 cam from MSA. Ran awesome and sounded freaking mean.
  5. you mean just an aftermarket bumper? thezstore.com is a good place to get ideas. If you want something handmade then you need to find a good body shop that deals with fiberglass.
  6. Yeah unless they are making billet spindles. which seems unlikely at that price.
  7. It won't clear the strut tubes. You'd need a 0 offset or less. You'd also need to stretch tires.
  8. Dipstick is the ultimate say. I'd expect another quart or about there with the oil cooler.
  9. Why do you have the turbo dizzy on an NA car? the common upgrade is the NA 280zx dizzy, the e12-80 module.
  10. What are you planning on running for engine management? That will determine what you should run. if it's going to be stock use the p79 head since it'll be same compression as a p90 and have the same combustion chamber shape. I believe the both heads have liners which could break off and destroy your turbo at any time. You should post pictures.
  11. Mustache bar or the dogbone? That link you posted doesn't go anywhere. and Techno Toy tuning makes both those parts as well.
  12. Just a general question, but is there a difference between the series 1 and 2 center consoles? I have a series 1, and I mean as far as attachment points to the tranny tunnel. Also I can't tell from the pics, but is there enough of a lip on the fuse panel area for have a metal plate for a switch panel? That's currently what I have, and would like to reuse that. When are you gonna start making these for production?
  13. So the top part, where the latches were, is just held in with some pins/rods? Like ikea funiture? I'm trying to get an idea of this because I'd like to do this one day. Also what are your plans for a rear window? Edit: would it be too much to ask, for a picture of the hatch on the hinge side?
  14. Is the 350 wider than an LS block? because I know LS engines have trouble with exhaust headers hitting the rails. Most 240sx owners just beat the piss out of them and the firewall to get them to fit. This also may go to the other projects forums, but awesome none the less. I had an s13 for a few years and was generally not amused with 90% of people on the forums/in real life.

  16. I can tell you it sucks. That's what I have in my 240z now (corbeau buckets with some harness) and turning to look for traffic and getting in and out is a pain. In my 280zx I have some sparco buckets with small wings, (sparco ultra's i think they are discontinued) and it's a lot easier. I also opted to keep my stock seat belt which makes it so much easier. I've driven cross country in the 280zx with those buckets (slept in the seats at rest stops) and my back did not like it at all. Either way (harness or with stock seat belts) it is not "comfortable" by any means. If I was more of a fabber, I'd try and fit some s2000 seats in. They are mighty comfortable. I also daily drive a 2012 wrx and it's seats are great, but I think just a little too wide for an s30 body.
  17. Spacers will probably correct the hub bore because they're going to be so large. If you're on stock suspension then you need at least 4.5" of backspace. you wheels are 10" wide lip to lip, and at +20 that leaves you with more at about 6.25" of backspace. So it'll be more like a 1.5" spacer Why did you buy these wheels?

  20. I had the same problem with my "racing style" mirrors. I JB welded them. No one could re adjust them. I'm probably going to do with fender mirrors on my new s30
  21. The profile is going to look almost the same with a properly sized 17" wheel as that 15" with small width tires. I run a 255/40/17 on the rear of my ZX and it looks fine.

  24. Don't think there is a difference between the years, but the knobs on both my window cranks broke, and right now there is just a bolt with some nuts to use as a knob. Looking to see if anyone has any used pairs for cheap. MSA sells them for like $25 each side, so I'm looking at like $25 shipped for a pair of used ones. PM me or text me at 818-919-4242. Shipping would be to 91505, was thinking you could throw them $5 flat rate box.
