  1. You have to pry the whole housing off the roof panel if I remember right. From there you can replace the bulb
  2. Wait I thought you had a 280zx? and to get it running just check all the fluids, spray some oil in the spark plug holes and let it sit overnight, double check the wiring and it should start right up assuming the enigne isn't already fubar.
  3. That dogleg looks pretty rough. Keep it up though.
  4. Wow ok that amazon product size description is bogus. Look at the spec sheet in the pictures, not the amazon description. the 16 cell is listed at 112x112x103 milimeters. That's 4.5x4.5x4. Which is a looooooooot smaller than that the cubic foot amazon listed lol.
  5. When I originally got started this thread I was specifically for data on the super light batteries such as: http://www.amazon.com/PERFORMANCE-16-CELL-MOTORCYCLE-BATTERY/dp/B005C5XS2U/ref=sr_sp-atf_title_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1392572235&sr=8-1&keywords=ballistic+16+cell Since it's about $240 shipped, has more cranking amps than the PC680, weighs 10 lbs less, and is physically smaller than the the pc680.
  6. Personally if I as going to pay that much for some SSR's I'd go with 16x9 16x10 with the proper offsets and run flares. But if you don't want to run flares your should be fine with that size. Maybe a slip on AutoZone spacer if you want to bring I out a little more.
  7. They came on my ZX, I took them off so my wheels wouldn't scrub them.
  8. Have you looked in OS giken diffs? Generally a 1 or 1.5 way is what most people prefer for doing a lot of street driving. 2 way is totally overkill for street driving.
  9. Lol have fun. Hope you have a lot of welding experience.
  10. Spec stage 3 is literally total ass to drive around town with. I would go with the Exedy stage 2 or the spec 2+
  11. You're not going to find anything larger than 245 (for those awesome 100 treadwear semi slicks) in 16. You need to go with 17's if you don't want to stretch. the standard for 17's are 17x9 front and 17x9.5 rear from the Rota group buy thread. Offsets are negative. If you don't want rotas, then CCW, Volk, SSR and a few other pricey companies make pretty much any offset you want. I was quoted at $2400 for a full set of SSR SP1's from a friend who is a dealer for them.
  12. Was this a new turbo or a used turbo? and what brand?
  13. ^^^ start a build thread. It's nice being able to look back
  14. Parts list? I thought you could get all the MS stuff for less than $700 (for MS 2 at least).
  15. It does save space though, which I'm sure it was designed for. With some tie ins to the strut towers I'm sure it would be stronger.
  16. That thing looks surprisingly clean for a 235k body.
  17. Yes. Sounds orgasmic, looks amazing. Would do it if I had a disposable amount iof cash and a weekend car. For a DD no.
  18. Can you post a picture of said station wagons? I can't exactly picture what you're saying.
  19. Yeah I've seen that as well. This forum use to get a lot more traffic. It does still pick up during summer, but even then most of the n00bs are in check. Could it be that we've just answered so many questions that people are actually finding answers and not needing to post new topics?
  20. I had the HP+ on my s13. They were soooo loud and annoying on the street. Once warm they do bite like no other though.
  21. Probably not caused by alternator, and I would figure out this problem before you put the alternator in and add to the confusion. What do you mean fuel leaking at the straps?
  22. Depending on how you get the RB you would have a newer engine with more aftermarket support, but you can easily put that all into an L28. Best part about having a turbo L28 is people wondering what it is, then realizing that it's 30yrs old and still competitive.
  23. How about you post the problem or issue so we can all try helping you. Pictures help, so do videos. Unless you just need a hand manhandling a tranny into a car.
