  1. Well I'm assuming the valves are going to be bent. i got everything back to TDC with the belt off, the idler snapped. WTF man i bought a cam belt tension gauge and had everything set to 196nm. WTF The man's trying to keep me down man i swear.
  2. I found the problem! its a Nissan. 55k as is where is.
  3. Oh course. Had a good shop go though everything and assemble.. Oh by the way something just seized locked the belt and bent all the valves. (assuming valves are bent cause the belt slipped). $ deep in engines. Time to go ls9 or just lease a 997 and beat the crap out of it for a few months and get it out of my system.

  6. Well the Rips lasted a lot longer. Unless noise and metal is usual for first change. 2.7 miles/9 minutes of running time.
  7. Speed huts here. If i did it again i would go with 5" instead of 4 like the stocks. They are kinda hard to see if you you have some power and need to focus. lol.
  8. This is the cometic exhaust gasket, what a pos. This is the tomei exhaust gasket Cometic Tomei Also on the crappy cometic gasket the rivets on the gaskets would need to be removed. So thankfully I have a mill so port match the big boy head ports. And for the grande finale

  12. 2jz for sure. If i do another one it will be 2j or some sort of v8. RB is nice on sound but thats it.

  16. Does centerline really matter that much? I thought it was mainly the up and down angle. My angle is set to 3* up and down and the diff is off-centered to the passenger side. I spin 8500, no problems yet.
  17. Yea I already have all that crap. 260s for under the curve. she would get sideways at 100 pretty easy so i dont need more up top.
  18. Just ordered some tomei 260/10.8 should be fine for this build.
  19. Well my cam has .0045 of run out so its toast. Im looking to up the lift as these where the tomei 260 poncams which have 9.15mm lift. I am thinking like 260/10.25 or the 260/10.8 lifts. reason being is that with the rb30 she doesnt rev past 8k and i would like to the the down low. turbo is a t04z for now on a ported Endyn head. i have dual valve springs and all that upgraded nonsense.
