ArizonaZ
Wow, that looks great! I did mine while ago, and I know that it takes a lot of work to get it to look that good. Great job!

cgsheen
Very interested to see how well this holds up. Let us know how it fares over the summer and if any cracks re-appear. The sun is really tough on dashes here in Arizona...
stav2201
any updates on how it is holding up?
Haniel20
What did he use as a paint it? looks textured but not to much it looks perfect I would love to know what he use to paint it with.
socorob
They make a flextex for texture, but the problem is the dash is going to crack in new places after a while. Mine is holding up great where I repaired it, but is cracking in places where there is still old plastic.
Derek
I went the patch method as well and like others it just cracks in a new spot. Here is a pretty long how to on bonding a dash cap to my dash. It's been over a year and up until I trashed the head it was sitting outside daily in the florida heat. There are no signs of delimitation. Not the cheapest rout but if you do it right it's probably the last time you will need to do it. MRGierut
Just now, BZ's said: Thanks! Helpful. No problem. It's really not that hard, just take your time and don't try to rush. It will probably take more than one day.
jacob80
Wow looks awesome! I just had a quote come back from JustDashes...$1750!! Far more expensive than I was expecting. Is this the go-to method for restoring these S30 dashes? I have the typical 3 cracks on the gauges in the center. I'd love to restore mine, but if it isn't going to last if I do it myself...I'd rather have it re-covered by a professional.
