chrism
75 280z. Just got it in the spring. Was going to be my daily while if fix the timing chain that my toyota truck coughed up one night. Got the Z home and it started have electrical problems. Saw all the relays and wires running all over the place and decided to swap with RB20. Now I have the new engine in and getting very close to starting it up. Thought it was just a drop in according to some people. The list is long for modes and parts needed to get this thing in right. I will start another thread on all the things I needed to do later. Just want to get this thing started.

ZXRockie
oh well, 2 years ago this guy gave me a rusty 1974 260z, because he wanted it out of his parking space. Then I built a nice RB25DET for it and a bunch of cool parts, but I found it very rusty during the process, so I'm ancher right now. at the end of the month it will be going through micro-mineral blasting, bodywork, and a midnight blue paint job, then I can keep going with the project. wish me luck...lol.. By the way I need a 260z or early 280z fuel tank. anybody?

RickyBobby
76 280Z with a blown engine and mostly rust free I scored for $160 about a year ago. I think it was silver. Just purchased an 83 ZXT 2+2 for the donor swap. Don't worry about sacrificing a good ZXT for a donor motor, this car had to be the most completely rusted out car that I have ever seen. As I was pulling the car onto the trailer the tow/tiedown hook ripped off and took the bumper and most of the radiator core support with it. My goal is to be driving this beast to the 2008 Walter Mitty at Road Atlanta.
