  1. grumpy..that is the photoshopped photo..look at the first post...LOL
  2. 260Zs DO have a return line and also have a line that went to a charcoal canister on the passenger side near the radiator.
  3. oh wow! sorry to hear that and glad you are fine...Wrecks are definitely scary...
  4. HAHAHA!!! now it looks like a flat 8 Porsche! albiet a riced Porsche...
  5. careless: Hey I just saw a lisence plate on a big truck that said "carless"...lol The flares in the second pic are from black dragon auto and are based off of vw beetle fenders. the fenders on the top car are from www.reactionresearch.com and are about $1200 for front and rear flares...
  6. I don't like the windshield...it's too small... seems like that body would be great with an S30 roof and raked windshield...
  7. That's a good idea!!! That will make it easy to move the block around...
  8. The front end of that thing is pretty sweet! it could use some work but it looks good! 8k RPMs? mmm...yummy. but he's using stock-ish springs on a coilover setup...why? looks like a camaro/firebird front bumper on a z? maybe?
  9. Awesome Phil!!! I can see you hitting about 350 horsepower and then explodulating your block...then it is time to get a built bottom end and you WILL be making more power than the pinks car(400ish)... I guess you do need a little more tire before you turn up all that BOOST!
  10. come on dude! Junkyards around here have lots of Z31s!!! they are dirt cheap to get too! Just look around and be patient and go to the junkyards and you will find one before long.
  11. I actually really like 18s on a Z...especially CCWs Mikelly: your car should look sweet with that silver and 18s!
  12. so everyone makes such a big deal about the 50mm SUs...I measured mine just to see where I was at and measured 47mm...is 3mm such a big difference? I don't see how that could flow SOO much better than regular SUs with air horns. That would aproximately be like boring each intake runner on a triple weber manifold 1mm...not THAT much of a difference... The other things like new needles and a rebuild probably do more for performance. I guess I am just being a pessimist here...oh well.
  13. Ken Jones had a good report about their Gnose. He said about 4 hours of work to get it perfect (not bad for a $650 gnose!). The other person who got a gnose from Zfiberglass said it was horrible and would take him 30 hours to get it right?!?!? Of course that second person is making the same gnose and selling them so why would he need one from another vendor except to splash a mold??? seems a lil' fishy to me...
  14. yeah... I'm ahead of schedule(yeah right) for having a running Z. In the last 2 years I have put maybe 1500 miles on my car in about 3 weeks worth of driving time...lol with 5-6 months between each week of driving...
  15. the Victoria british/black dragon flares are based off of the VW beetle flares. Not exact but VERY close. If you are lucky enough to have a bug junkyard you can get 4 rear flares (rears are what you need to use) for like $30 and then modify them to fit.
  16. meh... we don't have to clearcoat the block...just the head and valve cover and other little junk that will be coated up where the motor will be seen the most. The block is going to be hard enough to move around to just put the color on. Much less the clear
  17. EEW!!! YOU SICKO!!! J/K that does look nasty...
  18. Here are some pics of a 1/3 scale railroad I am helping build...it's 1.25miles long on 3000 acres of property! It's in the middle of nowhere too! Took these yesterday!
