  2. i talked to jason often on msn...he bought my old zxt computer setup i had in my z....that was many years ago.
  3. i switched the wires so they were on the right cylinder. i have the coil pack fromt he sds system...i will turn off the lights and try it...see if i find anything there...thanks for the help! i tried pulling the wire with the car running...and there is a good arc to the plug top....
  4. went and got a new plug, tested out of the car...showing spark...installed...same thing...showing no signs of sparking after starting the car and then pulling the plug. switched #5 and #6 plug wires and i get the same thing...that #6 plug looks brand new. i'm running the sds 6f with coil packs.....i'm gettin plenty of spark when i'm pulling the wire off with the car running...like i was saying earlier...traveled all the way down my body and out my toe. what could be going on? i'm stumped....i really want to hear her run normal. i really dont have any way to test the injector...i just got them all back from witchhunter performance though...they provided data sheets showing they were all flowing as they should.
  5. i forgot to add that the plug is wet with fuel...i'm gonna try taking the plug out and unplugging the injector. thanks guys..post back with results
  6. im finally to the point where i'm gettin the z running...it's been 3 long years. it starts no problem...but sounds like its running on 4 or 5 cyl....i pulled the #6 plug and it's clean...no signs of firing, i pulled the wire and it's gettin spark, freakin thing traveled all the way through my body and out my toe. can a spark plug be a dud? there's definately fuel, i just had all 6 injectors sent to witchhunter to be flowtested and cleaned. what could be goin on?
  7. i have an 08 legacy gt sedan (nice facelift over the 05-07)....i freakin love that car...just got to our destination after a ~450 mile trip....i'm excited for the return trip just cause i like to drive it...and i've had it a couple months shy of 2 years. it's pretty quick, awd, handles well, good on gas,(crusin 75-80 i can get ~31-32mpg,much larger back seat than 2.5, wrx, sti, looks more grown up but still a lot of fun.
  8. thats the reason i went with them...they are very similar in shape to the front wheels, just exagerated. they house my 275/40/17 just fine.
  9. are they these? they came from jim cook.....sometimes i see them on ebay.
  10. i reread what i wrote...ididn't mean to come across jerkish...it's just a sensitive area with tight tolerances, and it doesn't take much to mess things up...ive been there!
  11. so the cam and towers were off the head? were they marked when they were removed? this is not an area where someone learning a torque wrench should be assembling. i would take this to a machine shop. if you continue with the assembly, when torquing down those bolts...work your way around, make sure there is no binding and the cam turns freely the whole time.
  12. i called tokico directly and they sent me some right away...no questions asked. i just told them i broke one
  13. ive always used those spark plug spacers..antifowlers or soemthing like that... from autozone for all my bungs...just cut the lower portion off and weld the threaded portion on...i don't know what size or pitch you are lookin for..but it's worth a shot.
  14. i have an email from 04 askin smoothline about their stuff..then thier fenders were $250...now theyre sittin at $475!
  15. i have the barbed fittings that came with it...they are 10x1.00..i don't know the barb size but whatever comes with it new...i have AN fittins so i never used them....you can have them

  17. i guess that crossmember is never coming off huh?!
  18. with a hole drill bit....designed for metal...just slow down the speed and use wd40.
  19. you are looking at just a few bux for the steel...why waste your time trying to build it with fence post?
  20. if you have a buddy with a drill press you can make your own easy. i made one out of 1/4" plate a few years back...worked great with no problems. just use the gasket as a flange.
  21. i say, remove, blast. powdercoat..then install new bushings. : )
  22. thanks!....that's exactly what i was looking for. i wasn't hung up on kits...i just knew that they were going to do exactly what i need. thanks again!
