Well I have a clip, so i'll share. restrictive headers, 2.5 crush piping, Borla Pro XS mufler. I guess your big question now is, what can you do to prevent this from happening again? Consider : Ignition timing, compression and boost pressure, fuel octane, and maybe an air filter? hope all goes well.

If you say it was properly bled up to that point it seems like you did everything right. I'm pretty sure the problem your having has been discussed already. Search around. From what it sounds like though, maybe a vac. problem or booster.

ahh this bars only gonna be "for the mean time", I have plans to move the engine back and down sometime soon.

My first choice would be making a bar that goes straight across, but that would cost me too much right now so I have to improvise. I'm just making something for fun in my welding class for my first TIG welded project. If it does SOMETHING, even very little, i'll be ok with that for now, it only weighs like 6-7 lbs. Also, where would be the strongest place to place bars on the firewall in MY engine configuration? and would I have to reinforce the firewall area with 1/8'' plates front and back?
