  1. Will do. It will sit tacked just tacked together for a while until I get all the parts in place. Then I will break it down, wire wheel the joints, wipe it off with acetone and weld it all up.
  2. I am aware of the structural function of the tool box. Mine was all cut up from the PO who thought it was a good spot for speakers. So I decided to can it. No worries, I plan on bracing up that area with tubing and some sheet metal gussets, paying close attention to torsional strength. Thanks for the feedback guys.
  3. A few pics from some of the work I did on my cage. The material is 1.5 x .120 DOM. In the process I "lost" my tool box sheet metal. The pics look a bit uglier then it really is in there. Some recent rain caused surface rust on the plates and what not. Anywho feedback is appreciated, so let me know what you think. Floor plates for main hoop. 4. Ohhhhhhh yeah!! That is definitely a Dr. Pepper can!
  5. Does not show well?! You guys are very kind. I would let that think grace the underside of my dumpers but not my Z.
  6. How about, build a turbo kit using a MP t70?

After trying to get information out of the corbuea guys I went and sat in some sparcos, which didn't fit me at all. My shoulders were way above all the harness slots. Anyways I bought OMP's and I am very happy with them.

  9. That is the type of stuff I was hoping some one could share with me. LSD type, how much hp they take typically ect.
  10. lol, I just happened to be taking a big gulp of my fosters when I clicked on this tread
  11. Ahhh.... yeah, I do actually.
  12. Is anyone familiar with the M's diff? It seems I can get one with a LSD for fairly cheap. But I don't have a clue as to how much hp they will take or what type of LSD is in them. Anyone? I thought it might make a great alternative to the r200/230. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-M-ROADSTER-3-23-LSD-Differential-Z3-E30-M-Coupe_W0QQitemZ320192123691QQihZ011QQcategoryZ33731QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  13. Would be pretty cool in a Z, no? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Maserati-Quattroporte-3-Rear-Differential-and-Brakes-EX_W0QQitemZ250194169629QQihZ015QQcategoryZ42606QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  14. Mike, any chance I can get some part numbers or details on the rotors and calipers? Im pretty sure I know which caliper you are talking about but I am unsure of the rotor. Thanks
  15. Ohhh ok A local. I ask because I live in Rohnert Park and was born in Petaluma so I was surprised when you posted a link to a local shop
  16. From that picture it looks pretty clean. But you never really know what lurks under all that paint and underbody coating.
  17. Not to thread jack but, Capt Furious where are you located?
  18. Anyone seen these in person? http://www.team321.com/321HotRodIRS/321HotRodIRShome.html

  20. This might be a stupid question but, is C4 vette suspension really all that much better then Z car? I mean strictly in terms of performance, cool factor aside, when they are both tuned properly, Does the C4 really out perform the Z?
  21. How did you pick the location of the jack points? Is it an issue of front to real balance? And ahh... how do they work?
  22. This isn't exactly scientific by any means but if you already have the gussets, I say what the hell weld them in. You aren't talking about any substantial weight gain and it is not that much work. Personally if I had them already I would just burn them in.
