  1. Way to go guys helping each other out, team work baby!!! Brad just keep us posted if and when you touch the G-nose. I know about having cars and parts just sitting there waiting to be installed. They stare at me as I pass through the garage every morning going to work then again in the evening when I get home. The Scarab gives me an occasional side glance as if she's saying why not drive me to work today??? Because the parts need to be installed on you plus you don't have A/C and it's going to be close to 100 again today. Twins are taking up all my time that's for sure (8 months old now). I should just put everything into storage and forget about it until later. So all that being said, and how quickly you're going to be pulling parts from molds it looks like our schedules might just match up. Figure on the 3-5 year plan, I'd be interested in one of your G-noses in about 3-5 years. Let us know if it happens sooner, or if you ever start a "list" I'd like to be on it. Best of luck!!! David
  2. Clean as I can post.... Scarab position.
  3. Try a Charger with the hemi yet? How about a G35 sedan, turn off the VDS, e-brake is right there and handy.
  4. I'll say a prayer for your family tonight. In the mean time ask them all to think about their actions before they make their next move. Think about the safety risk, think about their loved ones, ask them to ask themselves "is it worth it?". Sure it's day to day stuff but leave yourself a way out (when it comes to driving situations) as for the family member with the cancer, it can affect persons of all ages, fell your scrotum from time to time, feel a lump Go see a doc!!! What is your health worth?
  5. Knock, knock 2004 is calling. Man this is old but still neat to see, believe it goes in a ship, or a REALLY BIG Z!!!!
  6. Yeah another Arkansas guy!!! I'm in Rogers. I have to agree, get the crate engine, why do the whole job twice. GET THE JTR MANUAL!!! BTW Terry lives around Little Rock, might want to see if you can hook up with him for some ideas/insight.
  7. Look closer that's 6 HP!!!! What is the funny colored thing in the sky???
  8. So I ran over to the local Wal-Mart last evening to grab a few things (driving 03 G35 Infiniti sedan, black). When I parked I noticed there was a cart parked at the front left corner of my car, no big deal, normally I'd grab it and haul it into the store with me. Nope not gonna do it this time. Run in the store, pick up 7 specific items, check out return to car and find that some a$$hole(s) have not only bumped my car with one shopping cart but TWO!!! The one scraped the drivers fender not too bad it will buff out but the second one left a small dent in the drivers door. That I'm concerned about. I removed the carts and went back into the store where I asked to speak with a manager. I filled out some paperwork and then showed her the dent. She said somebody from their claims dept would be in touch with me. Today I received a call from their claims dept so the ball is rolling. The dent is not resolved at this point BUT if you go to W-M and find a cart has hit your car, go talk to a manager, they have insurance for these incidents. They have cameras all over the place, they may not be able to make out faces but somebody parking a cart against my car they can see. I'll update to let you all know where this goes.
  9. Return the favor by sending the city a bill for the damage to the tires/underside of car/spilling your soda on the seat cleaning charge for not posting a "bump" warning sign. One good turn deserves another
  10. Where do you find the time to work on the car having an infant? You must have a very understanding wife... But then again I've got 8 month old TWINS and 0 spare time. Wife "you better NOT turn that damn compressor on while the boys are sleeping!"
  11. I'd go synthetic just because. You've put a lot of $$, time and effort into the set up so why scrape by now? The benefits of synthetic are marginal but if trying to extract the most efficency out of your car synthetic is the way to go. PLUG I work for Castrol and get all my oil free except we don't have gear oil on the display rack in my office. In my Scarab and V-8 Z (LSD unit) I run Redline fluid with the friction reducer as stated by Jim.
  12. Why not try the fan in pusher mode rather than puller mode???
  13. Not a big fan of 280ZX's but for the mileage price and it being a turbo, if I were closer I'd pick this one up. It's clean!! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=003&item=130005655804&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT
  14. I'm running the Accel shorty plug, had to in order to clear the headers with angle plugs and hooker block huggers. As far as heat range etc, I'm not that far into "tuning" the set up as of now....no time
  15. JTR setback postion of my 240Z, black magic fan, camaro radiator (thin one core) would always recomend running water wetter, I think it really works!!!
  16. Dibs on everything esp the Scarab parts, I'll come by tomorrow and take a look, we'll talk pricing. I'm local and have the cash$$$ Might just have to turn my Scarab into a TT hmmmmm. Brian, left you voice mails give me a call!!!
  17. I spoke with Brian last evening, he's never even ridden in a v-8 Zcar, I'm going to try and fix that this weekend. I told him that he needs to FINISH one project or the other
  18. I saw that ad too, now I've puked. I'll swing by this weekend an take a peek. Way to go!!!
  19. Kirkham, Superformance or Repliaca Shelby Cobra? Hot, smelly, loud, rough riding and convertible. Everything you want in a "sports car" but not a daily driver Sounds like you have your work cut out for you making this decision.
  20. ok which car do you want to see the Scarab or the JTR car? I can't bring both, mission impossible.
