  1. Well if you've got a spot light I'm sure the cinder block and rope will hold her steady for long enough before the bubbles come up.
  2. I'm going to also comment on the withholding of information that would be readily available at no expense to the person looking for it but is someone who doesn't have time or money to experiment and sweat every detail, or the person who retains the info who has acquired the info at a minimal expense as well. There have been one or two instances that I can remember from the passed where people play the greed game for no benefit of their own, and absolutely no benefit towards other users. Helping each other out in this respect can save time and money for all of us. I can appreciate a secret being held for obvious reasons, but for holding secrets for the sake of holding secrets.... thats too critical and unnecessary anywhere. Especially not in an enthusiasts forum where we're all trying new things and share similar ideas with at least one other individual. It's almost like saying "there's a huge crack in the middle of the road just over one of those hills, you might not see it at any speed, but you'll definitely feel it after you've found it. good luck". Would anyone benefit from people falling into a crack in the road? I mean, getting rid of the in-laws is one thing, but... That being said, experience is obviously #1 in acquiring specific information, but lets face it... we can all learn from one another's personal experience.
  3. so. a little story i read from another user on a forum i used to frequent. He had parked his car in a spot with a car on the left, and an empty spot on the right. As he got out of the car, an obese lady on her cellphone decides to park in the empty parking spot to the right of his car. She paid no attention to him, so she did not see what he looked like. As she's blabbing on her phone, he nonchalantly walks to the mall side entrance, turning back ever so often to see if she's going to slam her door on his car. Lucky him (or not). As he waited for her to open the door (by this time he was near the entrance, having a smoke) he saw her and her fat ass KNOCK his door with the edge of her door MULTIPLE times to get out of the car, and then proceeded to do the same thing with her rear-driver side door to get her purse. Upon witnessing her ignorance to other peoples belonging, and seeing her vandalize his car with her fat ass, he slowly walked back to the car after she had passed him to get into the mall. He walked VERY slowly to give her time to do her penguin-waddle through the doors and down the first hall of store fronts. He then went to her car and kicked both of her mirrors off her car, left hanging. And parked in the next row over... Lesson to be learned here, folks. I know some of us do it to piss people off, or because we're just males. But lets be gentlemen, not boys. And there's a new rule apparently. Park beside an expensive car so that anyone looking to vandalize or steal your car sees the more expensive one just less than a foot away. I don't see that one working either.
  4. THE AMPFICAR!!!!!111111!!!shift+one!!!!one-hundred-and-onedy-one!!!!!!11
  5. if u was closer, i'd buy dat tranny y0o0. but i'm all up in dis iceberg up hurr
  6. I think it has to do with the fact that a lot of what happens on HZ is not a question of is it right, it's a question of is it a (or from a) Z car. LOL thats the basis of everything. And if that's a yes, most everything within reason is too
  7. prox got my guess, so I'm going with 325, just cause.
  8. I hope you mean that's what you see with a laptop wireless feed or something. cause if you're looking through the viewfinder on that shot, either you're a fast skateboarder, or you're hanging off your rig by your camera. if the later, i'd be curious to know how much paint those suction cups suck off when removing them if they can hold that much weight... LOL j/k. that rig looks very well built, and you use it like the pro you are
  9. HybridZ is the ONLY car forum I go on. It's the only one I enjoy spending time on, and the only website to which I have donated. you guys is like my RB family
  10. hughdogz, why is it that you always spell racecar backwards? we're all about proper punctuation and the english speaking/typing language here.
  11. I'm coming over with a box to take my stuff back.
  12. LOL. I was WAITING for a car horn to start sounding as it went out the front doors. ahhahahahahahahhaha
  13. 400 whp will be ur limit with that transmission
  14. It should be ok. it might be a tad off balance, which might do somethign to the bearings though. Don't wanna scare ya, just lettin ya know. If you want a RB30 dampener to try out, let me know.
  15. that is a very well made and fitting bumper. I think it fits the profile and the style of the rest of the car quite nicely. I could even see a more flat version utilizing the same styling being an option too. But that's a great idea nonetheless.
  16. that wasn't my point. it was your reasoning behind re-use after a catastrophic mechanical failure that i was trying to get at. Breaking is breaking. You'd be lucky if you find the low calorie version called "Break Light", especially when pistons move at the speed they do. LOL. Just sayin. On with the show.
  17. cold, hard advice: use an electric 15 or 25Watt soldering iron. do not use a propane/butane soldering iron. those things are a mess.
  18. even if weight was an issue, i'd still get the RB25. LOL
  19. silicone is great for covering bumps, sags, and ripples in Z cars too. hey jerry, when this thread stops getting funny, that's when you start drinking more beer. until then, if you don't finish your 2-4 of Molson Canadian, you ain't gettin your car keys back
  20. I bought a steel flywheel that looks a lot like the Cusco branded ones, but it was made in Japan by some no-name company from JPS Trading Co. on eBay. It weighs 11.5 lbs, and is a solid piece. I can provide pictures. It's for an RB20DET but generally, that means any nissan 240mm clutch.
  21. Excuse me for saying this, but my 87 turbo has to be the easiest 5spd i've ever driven. I've tried a friends Honda Civic, stalled. I've tried my room mates Sentra GXE. stallllllled. I've driven for a lengthy period, my friend's Corolla GTS, never stalled, but i was buckin' here and there. Got my 87 Turbo, drove it the weekend later around the block about 10 - 12 times. Not a single hiccup. I think I don't like the fact that you gotta keep the revs up on a smaller engine to mate the clutch smoothly. That's just me. The S30DETT looks wicked, and I love the 360 too
  22. has anyone tried using the KA24 flywheel?
