  1. You are very lucky... I read that lots of people every year die from what just happened to you ....
  2. I would use a uprated one simply because most use materials that hold up longer than the plain oem part. I first bought the blue Greddy belt for a hundred some odd dollars, but ended up changing it out to a Nismo brand because I wanted a black one to complement the color scheme. I had Matt send me one from Jipan.
  3. I might be intrested in this to use with my TEC2 engine managment set up. Whats the deal with no mouse port? I'm computer stupid, so I'm in the dark on that feature.... Can a mouse be used with it? I'll try to PM TimZ and ask him about the compatibility of this lap top with the TEC2...
  4. Bob, my alum Thagard pan was slightly un-flat also... . As far as the continues weld, I'm not sure what you mean. I used the orange gasket sealant that comes in the oem full gasket set, and I belive it will be ok as far as sealing. Mine pulled down flat once I tightened down all those 10mm bolts on the flange. I really like your custom oil pick up. I honestly at this point, would feel more confident having that set up in my oil pan than the way I did mine.... only because it hasn't been tried out yet. That pick up of yours will work fine I'm sure, plus its nice and suported.... props to your machinest.....
  5. Upload all the pics here>> http://www.putfile.com/loggedin then post the links here, or the thumbnails....
  6. Hey Bob, those breather fittings on the valve covers just twist off. I just wrapped a rag around them and used channel locks to twist back and forth. There just pressed in... I'm using AN/pipe thread fittings on mine. Mark, please do post up the detail photos for us all the ponder over..... we like seeing how others have tackled the common mods that have to be done for a complete install. Thanks in advance... joel
  7. You are looking at just about as much custom work to install the 240sx diff as a R230, because of it being a short nose R200, and its also a open diff unless you buy a JDM 240sx diff, which will be a R200 short nose VLSD....
  8. That my friend is one beautiful car.... Question; how in the heck are you going to fit a IC in that nose set up? I like the ducting, its just that I can't see room for much of a IC... please elaborate...
  9. Sounds good to me Chris.... just go ahead and post them in your photo album, then link them here. If the Mods feel its worthy, I'm sure it can become a sticky...
  10. I think he knows that, he was asking about the acceleration part of it....
  11. Is the top peice the side skirts? If so, there is a pair of them correct?
  12. 1,350 veiws 30 min later.... Thats what you call getting beat down by a 280z.
