  1. I am game if you still thinking about a run, I could live without the reverse light...
  2. Seriously now, you don't think I FIGURED THAT OUT? The operative word was "available.":icon45: ...there must be a few pic's out there...anyone?
  3. Any other pic's available, I would luv to see thins thing...
  4. For 250 max hp, keep the stock zxt harness or better yet do the z31 ECU/ MAF upgrade. Much easier and better drivability for a daily driver. No need to upgrade injectors if you use a rising rate FMU.
  5. Really wanted the BBS's but the Enkies would work. Not in a rush so a few months would do. PM me when you are ready to let them go, hopefully you have the center caps also. Ken
  6. compression ratio would be great to know also...
  7. Hey Chris and Big-Phil, what compression ratios are you running? Big-Phil, it looks like you may be in low 7's with the 2mm head gasket, is that correct and if so, how is it off boost? Also, what base timing are you guys running? Ken
  8. Work in progress, engine not yet assembled, waiting on rings. Engine: F54 3.1 stroker w/ KA24De 18cc dish pistons, L24 9mm rods, LD28 crank, p90a, 2mm head gasket (8.2:1 CR), FMIC, Oil cooler, N42 non-EGR Intake w/ 60mm 240sx TB and Fidanza LWFW. Turbocharger System: Turbonetics T3/T04E 50 trim ar 60 compressor, w/ stage III .63 turbine wheel, internal wastegate, 3 in. downpipe, cold air intake (shooting for 12 to 18 psi @ 18 deg base timing). Fuel Injection: Walbro 255 LPH fuel pump, stock fuel tank. Injectors & ECU Mercedes 440 cc injectors, JWT Tuned ECU with Cobra MAF Exhaust System: A 3 in all the way w/ 18 in. glass pac, mandrel bend tubing to a high-flow Magnaflow muffler. HP unknown at this time, hoping for 300 to 350 rwhp (if the stock OEM KA24De pistons will hold-up, can’t afford forged at this time and I can’t wait another year to get her back on the road). DriveTrain: Z32 5 speed w/ Spec-II clutch, z31 3.7 LSD w/ CV axles
  9. A blue '77 280z w/ 14 inch westerns, got it free in 1987 form my brother...
  10. Looks really great man!!! What color is that, do you have a paint number???
  11. Picked up mine form dealer a few days ago, was on back order...tell us more about the LED lighting mod.
  12. naviathan, you are 100% correct, I was thinking within a day or so after driving it (within 50 miles)...he did say "Rebuilt engine compression, never started"
  13. Doen't hurt do do a baseline check...
  14. There is no status in over paying, go for it and lets us know how it turns out...
  15. Any additional comments on its application? Would you need a head gasket below and above for proper sealing (Head-gasket-shim-gasket-block)? I'm trying to get 2.5 to 3.0 mm between my head and block for my stroker rebuild (L28 rod and zxt dish pistons). This will be for a turbo application, so I'm not too concern with quench.
  16. Trust me, I have been searching...
  17. Currently rebuilding my 280zxt engine with a stroker crank. I'll be keeping my stock L28 rod and dish piston combination (read somewhere that a smaller crank to rod ratio is better for turbos). The problem is, this set-up leaves me with a 2mm positive deck height (piston above block deck by 2mm). Can I run this set-up with a 2.5mm head gasket without any issues or will I need a 2mm fly cut to keep the pistion at or below deck? Last question, how do I know if I need to get the crank polished prior to install or should this alwasy be done when rebuilding? All crank surfaces look excellent except for one main surface that has a light circular like stain about 5mm in diameter that is not detectable to the touch. THANK! Ken
  18. The MAF's are all the same 84 thru 89, NA and Turbo's. Don't know much about the ECU indicator lights but if you did the wiring per the write up, it should fire right up if the ECU is any good and you car was running before. Good luck! Best upgrade you will ever do.
  19. I did this a few months ago and post a response for someone over on zcar.com who had the same question...don't remember the specifics...do a search for on "kash."
  20. Hey Chris, did you get this figured out, I ran into the same issue you were having during assemble? I did my best to assemble without pinching (very difficult with the spring tabs sticking out) yet I am getting a clunking sound from the diff when going around corners. Did you install with the springs flipped around?
