  1. That looks awesome! What do you plan on doing to the back of the door jam, it looks like theyres a seam that sticks out.
  2. Hey we'll have to get some events going on in eastern wa or western Idaho. I dont have my car done or my license yet but Id help set it up. Where you planning to go to school?
  3. Thats what I was thinking wouldnt like 15 psi be around 500 hp?
  4. About how much did you have to remove? gokiburix- Your car looks really nice, did you completely restore it?

    flame help

Would it work if you were to have a switch between one sparkplug wire and the coil so when driving you can have power to the engine sparkplug then for flame switch it to a sparkplug in the exhaust? The one cylinder wouldnt be igniting so youd have extra fuel.
  6. Looks great! Ive been reading some about the LT1's and I guess theyre coming down in price. Did you buy a complete car or was it damaged, just motor etc. and which way would you reccomend going. Im hoping to finish my car up this summer and then for my senior cummulative project next year do the swap. Cant wait to see some of your 1/4 mile times.
  7. http://forums.hybridz.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=2445&stc=1&thumb=1&d=1172435246 Those flares look great. Any idea what kind those are? (Middle red car above) Yeah I saw that picture along time ago and didnt think to save it. Thats a pretty sick car. Is it still the L28?
  8. CandyBlue2+2 thats a great color. Ive always thought the blue looked breat on 2+2's. Im probably gonna go for a gun metalish color on my car but If I had the choice Id like to do a two tone with silver and gunmetal seperated by a red pinstripe. Like most of you said trying to do a fade would be really hard. Even if you got one side done pretty good, try doing it again.
  9. Those look really nice. Theyll fit over those wheels nice.
  10. How much of the earth have you searched for these "subliminal messages"?
  11. Looks great. How much did the powdercoating for the quarter trim cost? I remember you had a thread a while back you were trying to decide on the front bumper color, looks like you picked the right color. Also what was your process of widening the back?
  12. Yeah I saw those also. Id like to try those to see how they work. Mine are shot and I like the bluish light better then the normal yellowish.
  13. I think it would be best if you went ahead to repalce all the easy to replace tune up parts, cap, sparkplugs fuel filter etc. Then jsut try to use elimination, to possibly find the problem. My car was doing something similar and the problem was that the condensor wire wasnt plugged in. its right above the coil. Hope you get it running.
  14. These both look pretty good. Ive also thought about the BRE scheme with two tones of gray instead of red white and blue.
  15. Off topic but Adam393 do you have the clear paint you spray on your license plate to create a glare?
  16. I would personnally go for the 280z because your wanting a daily driver. The 240z would be good for a full on restoration with new interior but you dont want that. The 280z you could probably drive home and do some minor work to get it good dependable condition. You could also begin doing some upgrades and fixing it up because the main work like major rust repair wouldnt have to be done. Before you buy the 280z if you do be sure it doesnt have major rust. It might look like its minor but it might be major. Good Luck
  17. Just a little over 7 months and your almost done!! Im still going and its been 5 years. Cars looking great, Im sure youll have a really fun car when its done.
  18. Monzter your engine bay looks great. Did you powdercoat your valve cover with the wrinkle powder of is it some other kind? Also what kind of intake manifold it that (Isnt it lonewolf or something like that), it looks great.
  19. I agree with most of you its a little over the top with the hood and all. I think the front fenders are kinda neat, anyone know how you could do that on an S30?
  20. I have to disagree, I had a guy come from a custom body shop that does all sorts of high end classic car work and look at my car and he said there is lead filler on most of the seams. I had the paint off part of my car like behind the quarter window and there was lead showing. I might be having them do some of my body work and he said to leave the lead if I do bring it out to them. My car hasnt had any work done on the body so I think they did use lead filler.
  21. Ive seen alot of the turbo kits you can buy for hondas and toyota 4 cylinders come with the rubber type hose. But its cheaper for them because theyre making a bunch of the same bends, lengths. On another note anyone ever had intercooler piping with cooling fins? Probably wouldnt do much but thought Id ask.
  22. I believe thats lead filler. Looks like you got a big job ahead of you. Is that spoiler some home made contraption or do most wings have that chicken wire in them?
  23. Sell good parts but some of the stuffs a bit more pricey. They also sell quite a few harder to find pieces for the Z's, but I think theyre names kinda lame.
  24. I mow my grandparents lawns and do chores for my parents. Makes getting parts for the Z somewhat slow. Starting running start next year and will be at a college for high school and college classes for my junior senior year then on to real college to get my degree in Mechanical Engineering. Hope to work for DiamlerChrysler if Chrylslers not sold off. If Chryslers gone then Nissan or Mercedes.
