  1. Does the hood close with the truck intake? Looks like it might fit. I am going to put a 6.0 in my Z, and am wondering if I would need to get a LSx intake. I would rather keep the trucks longer intake runners than put the car ones shorter runners on.
  2. Here are some pics of my old chevy I'm working on right now.
  3. On body panels a 1/2" bead will warp it. I always use tacks. tack, skip a couple inches and repeat. let it cool down before starting over on the next pass. just keep tacking untill it is is tacked on every spot.
  4. I vote 3 rotor with a BIG turbo. Those are just awesome!
  5. Hard to tell from those pictures. Go look at it, check for rust in the usual areas. Like under the carpet, under and around the battery tray area, rear doglegs, frame rails, and the hatch tray area.
  6. What brand paint, and what color is that? It looks great!
  7. Are you still running the truck intake or LSx? I am thinking of a LQ9 for my Z, and IF the truck intakes clear the hood, I'll be happy.
  8. Sounds like alot of fun! I would love one of those cars!
  9. Looks like you could run an angle cut TB spacer to angle the TB slightly up to clear the belt. What did you have in mind?
  10. You need a baffled tank for the EFI. The baffles in the tank keep the pump from starving at a partial filled tank. Carbs don't care if they get moments of no fuel pressure since they have float bowls in the carbs to keep the engine going during those moments of pressure drop. EFI has to have pressure, or it stalls. Any 280Z (not sure on the 2+2's) tank will work since they are all EFI. You could keep your carb tank by running a surge tank. BTW all this and much more can be found by searching.
  11. The Beretta is nice, I have shot it before, but not the others you mentioned. A friend has a Blaser F3, and it is the best double gun I have shot. It has an adjustible balance thing in the stock. It was pretty spendy though. I think around $6000. He has a nicer gun, but I can still outshoot him. lol
  12. Definately the best looking ZX I have seen! Good job
  13. Are you saying you want to turn it into a rally car?
  14. Sorry didn't see the vid link at the bottom.
  15. Oh, and they will build them to your specs, offset, lugs, etc.
  16. Anyone know how much Bose wheels sell for? They say call for pricing, but I am scared to know the price of these. I am guessing $4000 for a set of 4. Anyone know the actual price of these, or any of their wheels?
  17. Yep, I love mine! It is the only way to weld!
  18. I love it! I have been eyeing those wheels as well, only in a 17x9, and 17x8. Can't wait to see them on the car with rubber.
  19. v8dats, what did you use for blinkers? Did you just go with the 280 ones in the grill area? I like the type 3 airdam, but I prefer the lower blinkers of the 240-early 260's.
