  2. @ Cannonball, did you get your ujoint issues figured out? I tore mine up yesterday at the track. Would you install the 1310's on a stock 240z driveshaft or should I use the larger 280 turbo driveshaft I have holding the floor down?
  3. I've gotten the chain back on without taking everything apart. Try it before ripping everything apart. (I've done that too). I used a led light to see what was going and a long screw driver on the tensioner while a buddy kept the chain tight. Give it a shot.
  4. I would like the auto console and the linkages as well the shifter if it's not totally fubared.
  5. I would like some parts left over from the swap. Any chance you/he would be willing to set aside a few things rather than throwing them out?
  6. Where does your boost start to come on? IE: positive pressure rpm I run a stalled Jatco and I had mine stalled to where positive pressure starts then with a transbrake it builds all the boost I need get a boosted launch. What kind of times are you running?
  7. Would it by chance go into the main harness by the alternator/regulator?
  8. Gentlemen, I'm trying to use the stock water temp sensor on my 72 but the wiring from the main harness to the sensor is missing. It may be cutoff somewhere in the engine bay and I need to know where the sensor makes it's way into the engine bay or at the very least where the wire runs from the sensor into the main harness. I know some of the v8 swap guys use the factory guages so some of you must have done this. I've installed an L28ET using the 83 harness and have that sensor wire dug out ready to make the connection.
  9. You should swap everything into the 83 2+2 sitting beside my house. No rust anywhere on it.
  10. Are you injecting Meth pre-turbo?
  11. I have a buddy with an R32, stock bottom end, hks cams and cam adjusters, that we setup with a t72. I believe it is a ballbearing turbonetics turbo. It has a .68 p-trim hotside and gets 20ish psi by 5200 with a simple bleed type boost controller. It has had no weight reduction and traps at 126mph in the 1/4mi.
  12. My 83 2+2 weighs 3150 at the track. I was able to run 11.23 @ 123.9mph with the original 90k bottom end. You won't see much here for drag racing info as not many drag race a z. Most are street cars or road course cars. Do a search for a user named Jersey. I think he reached low 12's or high 11's with a stock turbo swap. There's also a thread named "List your L28ET setup" with some upgraded L28 engines.
  13. You'll easily hit 11's with your setup. If you are going to use the jatco 3spd and want some help with it let me know. I've got the info to build it up, shift kit info, manual vb info and some tips for getting it to work at the track.

  16. My car went 11.2 at 123.9mph at 3146lbs. I would expect you to trap around 134 and with a 1.5 or so 60ft you should be deep into the tens. The et depends a lot on the driver and setup. I'm swapping my drivetrain to a 600lb lighter car and expect to be well into the 10's with similar hp.
