  1. You can check the VIN number (list is on Victoria British catalog) or the panel on the side of driver door. The head you sold me came off the 73 240Z I believe. (E88) E31 was before that so it might even on the early 72
  2. you need the tach adapter I think. Something to do with Nissan's low voltage signal. I can try to crank my car without it later. The two zxt original coil wire connects to MSD red and white with a tach adapter in line. Then, MSD coils wires connects to the coil. Got it?
  3. early 69-71 I think It's worth bux
  4. It's for 78 280Z. Doesn't need the diode inline with tach signal. Let me know if I can refine something. Or question
  5. Yap, I got MSD with Z31 MAF set up. Ignition is same as zxt after the module so shouldn't be a problem. I do have a two wire tach adater but no diode needed. I even using the factory tach with factory wiring. IT's real simple. I'll draw a diagram and post it later. Or hit me on th AIM
  6. Well, the Stage V is a redesigned wheel. (10 blade) It's more effiecient than old style 11 blades. So even with bigger wheel, the spool isn't so bad. Or else, you can get the stage III 10 blade.
  7. It's easy to hook it up, coil wires after the ignitor to the red and white wires from MSD. Bam. done. Advantage is with stronger flame, you can burn rich fuel with low timing.
  8. Sweet. Congrat on your new best.
  9. Narrowband O2 isn't going to tell you much under WOT. Mine always stayed at 10:1 even with my EGT at 1620deg. I was losing torque after 5000rpm on my dyno with stock t3. I'm sure it was going out of effiency around there. (blowing heat) I went to 60-1 with stage III and my car revs alot hard after 5000rpm. O, and probaly could use more timing too. race gas and bump the timing.
  10. intake side? if you are milling it down, why can the machine shop straighten it by milling? and $300 is awfully high. Costs me like $25 to get my head milled .030" Anyway, you can get another good P90 head for $300, more like $150.
  11. that dyno does look kind of funny. Looks almost like your cam too advanced and peaking power early. The power band should be wider than that specially with stock turbine wheel. But, z31 MAF setup does seem to fall on it's face early in my car. it's almost like it takes too much timing.
  12. turbo crank is same as N/A crank. you can probably shave the O.D. some with emory paper and it should fit. It's real tight fit anyway.
  13. I bought a set of head studs from ARP and never looked back.
  14. I don't know about E-management on factory AFM setup. Because there is no voltage signal. It gives resistance to the ECU unlike the MAF. I think when Greddy said airflow meter, it was talking about MAF rather than AFM. I guess you can convert it to MAP. But keep us updated.
  15. you can pump up teh front tires to more mph 8)
  16. pins are located on ECU and terminals are on the MAf connector. You need the FSM for Z31.
  17. Electric fan(s) quite my fan down.
  18. you need to get you a factory service manual. It can tell you how to run the diagnose. It's not hard. access the ECU and turn the knob on thet side of ECU according via FSM.
  19. Pin 31 (black) goes terminal B (Shielded grey with black ground) Pin 26 (black) goes terminal D (black) Terminal C (black) to the engine ground Terminal E (black/white) to positive on FI relay (black/white) Terminal F (red/white) is self cleaning circuit. It goes pin 12.
  20. 255whp and 112mph on Integra? My buddy's turbo B16 civic dynoed 278whp and only traps 109mph. How heavy is GSR? I thought they are hevier than a base model Civic. ANyhow, that's pretty stout
  21. you can run OBD mode V and see the problem in real time. And run Mode III to see if you got a part that's broke.
  22. Well, I swapped Z31 MAF. It's not tuned good but I am hitting 10 psi in first gear with 3.90 Anyway, I'm going to run 3.90 first, than swap 3.54 and see the difference soon.
  23. RB26DETT pistons (30mm), LD28 crank (83mm) , and SR20DET rods (136.3mm) would workout with -0.1 deck height. Then, you have to shave the journal off the crank 2mm since the big ends on the SR20DET rods are 2mm less. My concern is would the shorter piston skirts, piston knock. FJ20 parts are hard to come by too. If you find one, I'll take a et of rods. (140mm)
