  1. Holy cow.. love the big cam idle.. Great, next is to drive it, fast.
  2. Shards of plastic from the mirror, and parts from the garage door seal go flying in all directions with an audible sound of an explosion. You cant make this stuff up.
  3. Yeah, drove my BMW M3 into a beam in my garage today. Put a dent in the front drivers fender where the flare is. There was no paint damage, only from the beam. I think it should pop out with no problem. NOT HAPPY. Okay, so what ev.. kinda calmed down. So I decided not to drive the BMW, and use the mini-van.. so I'm backing out and WHACK.. the passenger mirror explodes. OMG.. seriously. Dented the pass side fender, and some how the mirror still works, although most of the plastic is destroyed. So yeah.. Stage 1 hypertension baby! Work 7 days a week also, good grief Charlie Brown.
  4. If its a machine shop, could they possibly turn down some stock to your needs?
  5. With a twin turbo V8!! http://www.s14.net/forums/showthread.php?t=23938 My god, my next project..
  6. The higher the better. Easier to get to if you need to grind anything on the inside. Done correctly the weld will be stronger than the parent material.
  7. Says it won't be out until spring 09'.
  8. Lol, my friend moved back to Wisconsin from there. Now would be the time to go skiing!
  9. Oh snap, more toys I have to buy.
  10. Looks like a different paint job on the car. Yellow flames maybe? Did I miss something?

  12. Those rear tires have too much tread on them.. Take videos.
  13. Yeah, I'm in the same boat, I want to install a staging hand brake, some of them have the locking option, like a parking brake. That would create the same problem as a line lock would, as over time you could lose line pressure and watch your car go bye bye. I'll have to have a staging brake, and a parking brake, or just forget the staging brake.
  14. This thread... makes no sense. but I love videos, so ROCK ON! lol, I was confusing your sig as part of the post. sorry.
  15. Ok, stopped at the Airgas store today. I was told in house special for me is $1,964.00 for a brand new Syncrowave 200 running gear package (wheel/handle attachments $2-300 option) I don't think they'll get many used Syncrowave 200's because they're kind of new. And the new ones have a 2 year warranty. I'll probably pick it up after I get my taxes back.
  16. From what I gather, he's going to have a stripped interior. My LQ9/T56 has a stripped interior and weighs 2560lbs. I weighed it myself, and I was told it has 50/50 distribution, but I've never had it on corner scales. If he's losing all the weight from the interior, the battery certainly can be moved. Mine is way back by the fuel cell. I'd rather not have it behind the rear axle. When I finish my 260z chassis, and swap everything over, it will go behind the passenger seat.
  17. Get some friends to help lift it on the trailer. Two guys in the back, and one guy steering should do it. I know it's going to be heavier, but me and a friend were able to walk around with my 260z chassis to get it off the trailer and into the garage.
  18. I'm interested to ride one, I'd like to see how it feels different compared to my 06 R1. The sound certainly will be unique for the R1's because they've always had the flat plane crank.
  19. I'm going to the local welding stores to check up on the prices they have on used Miller Syncrowave 200's. A rep at my work said he could bring me a list, but I haven't seen him since. I stopped by the Airgas store today, and they're only open M-F. So, there is another store locally that I can check out during the week. From what I've seen online, they go for about 1,990$ NEW shipped. I'm hoping I can get one used for closer to $1,000, but they do tend to hold their value. Anyone ever used the Syncrowave 200? I'm not worried about the performance for DC, but more along the lines of AC for aluminum. I know it has square wave. How about the balance control, is it automatic or can I adjust it? Thanks for any input.
