  1. My favorite prop plane would have to be the corsair but the P51 is pretty good looking as well...
  2. F22s look okay, but maaaan the lines on the F16...
  3. My roommate and I were talking about wishing we had gone into the Air Force so we could get to drive one of these That's a whole bunch of sexy.
  4. I've been looking at a graphite colour just like that, There is a guy on here running a Ford Mustang Grey on a 2+2 I believe, the colour is a bit flat for me. I have really liked the BMW graphite. Might want to look into that. Something like this: I want a colour that looks a bit silvery in the sun but dark at low-light conditions and at night.
  5. G35s are okay, but I'm gonna vote for a 3 Series [M3 would be awesome, MAG, you're out of your element], CTS-V was also a good suggestion [Can't go wrong with a luxury saloon with an LSX], or, for AWD, I'd do a nice turbo German car like an A4 or something.
  6. I've got a couple sets, but they have pistons on them. PM me.
  7. So I'm sitting here drooling at my laptop and wondering, "mmm I wonder what it sounds like." Then I remember it's 2009 and we have the internet. Here's a video with the TC24-B1 OS Giken Head with Tripples. Oh my.
  8. I got the relay board wired up and got the car back to the house but it was running on 4 or 5 cylinders. I got home, shut it off and when I went to start it again the battery was dead. So I got a jump, went to go get spark plugs in O'Reilly's and left the car running but it died when I went back outside, and had to get a jump. Buuuuut the car wouldn't start. got spark, figured it was the fuel. I pulled the Dropping resistors off, and switched the PWM back on, [Luckily I had my laptop in the car] and got the car home running on 5 cylinders. Hopefully I just fouled out the spark plugs and it'll run fine tomorrow. [Minus tracking down my charging issue] I have the Dropping resistors barely sitting on the relay board aluminium case, do you think I could have fried the resistors from not having them properly placed on a heat sink? I have lots to do tomorrow and schoolwork on Sunday... Perfect timing.
  9. I've never owned a S130 but I've taken one apart, it *seemed* like the engine bay had a bit more room. Check out this, this is my setup, and it's very close to the fan, but it works fine. http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh81/flatblack280/TERBEAUX/DSC03025.jpghttp://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh81/flatblack280/TERBEAUX/DSC03025.jpg So, Australia never got the 280ZX Turbo?
  10. ^ heh. Search "rudypoochris" I'm assuming the thumbs up means the Rotas are okay? Glad to hear he didn't get injured, and good luck with the new build you guys will have going on soon!
  11. I'm out to prove you wrong, friend
  12. There ya go. Google search gave me that. And it was a link to a HybridZ album. Shouldn't have to take the exhaust shield off, that's why they have the dips in the top, so you can access the bolts. I stripped out one of the heat shield bolts and ended up just cutting the shield off around that bolt, but I didn't put it back on. Google is your friend!
  13. I drove the S30 to school Friday with it running on 5 cylinders, I thought it was just cold and it would go away when it warmed up. I should have turned around and got the Z31 but I was already running late. I got to school, parked, and when I came back out after work, It was running on about 3 cylinders. when I really stepped on it it seemed to run better. I drove it right next to my office and got a small screwdriver to tighten up the relay board connections thinking one of the injector bank wires were loose. When I tried to start the car again, it wouldn't turn over. Pulled the dizzy wire and I was getting strong spark. I got fed up and just pulled the Relay board and ECU out of my car and left it in the deck and had my roommate pick me up. I've had nothing but problems from this stupid relay board, and it was the last thing from the sour deal I had with buying that MegaSquirt setup second hand, so I just ordered a new one. I might try and do direct jumpers later on so I can use the relay board on another MS setup [MegaSquirt my Z31 perhaps?? ] but I am tired of dealing with it so I just got another relay board form DIYAutoTune. Once again, great great people to do business with. Got to work, emailed them, got an invoice shortly after, paid them, then got an electronic shipping notice within a couple of hours. One of the best companies over the internet I've had the pleasure of doing business with!
  14. It looks like it was already wrecked and the hood and bumper were gone, there is a puddle of tire there though. @ Josh's alternator comment
  15. I'm running an 81 280ZX N/A Motor with a turbo swap, it's the same motor as yours. I am on 8 lbs boost right now but I plan on going higher. I also have a stand alone ECU [MegaSquirt] and a front mount Intercooler. Check out my N/A to Turbo writeup: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=153195 And check out the turbocharger section of this website, there are tons and tons of threads about this. http://forums.hybridz.org/forumdisplay.php?f=70 Good luck!!
  16. Yeah I can't wait - My new WBO2 sensor comes in today and we'll see if that fixes the problem. I found a STUPID cheap OEM replacement LSU-4 sensor that'll plug right into the LC-1 Controller, I'll tell you guys where to find it and how much it is when I find out if it works or not.
  17. You have no idea. [Resets are STRESSFUL] Beat my roommate's 5.0 old edge SN95 by 5 lengths from a dig [with a pessimistic Camaro owner as a witness] Blew off an IC piping coupler when we went from a roll and she beat me by a bumper. I had 0 vac on my gauge, she took the cheap win but I'm not worried about her anymore
  18. Ah... I've got the same thing happening. I'll try that because I'm almost due for an oil change.
  19. From OP I'm running NGK BPR7ES Well, I took the interstate to school yesterday [i usually take surface streets] and beat the crap out of my car with no resets. I did a couple 20-"over interstate speed" pulls and no resets. My fuel maps definitely need work but this was top priority. I guess the Dropping Resistors did the trick!! Thanks again guys, What would I do without Hybrid? [i'll be ordering some magnecors anyways.]
  20. Forrest was using these with his MegaSquirted cars, they are 8mm with "Magnecor Metallic Inductance SS25 RFI and EMI suppressed." Here are the links: http://www.magnecor.com/magnecor1/7mm8mm.htm http://www.magnecor.com/magnecor1/files/electrosports-80.pdf [same thing but a PDF] He says they are fine and Forrest knows what he's talking about, also he said he paid $62 for a set. Any input on this?? I won't mind throwing down the extra $50 [And I'd prefer not to have to buy twice], but these seem like they would be okay... and $62 is much better then $112.
  21. Nice reaction, glad your Z came out okay. Just wondering, what wheels and tires do you have?
  22. I thought the L28ET injectors were 260cc? What is your req fuel? Mike and I are running with a 12.0 req fuel. Do you want me to upload a screen shot of my fuel tables? It's pretty rich up top but doesn't sound as rich as you are talking about. Have you tried manually adjusting the idle area on the maps while trying to start the car? My car would not idle at all until I sat there and played with it and got the fuel right [my req fuel happened to be off as my Ford injectors were mislabeled]
