    Damn, thats a steal! I would love to go solid axle but I am concerned about mounting the seat and fitting in the car. Usually you lose a lot of leg room when going solid axle and back halving the car. Please post some pictures!

    8.8 is the only way to go these days. If I had it to do over again I'd ditch the IRS and go that route. The cost has got to be close to equal.

    I had the exhaust come out at the front of the rear wheels, could not stand it!!!

    Be careful, I had my throttle stick wide open on the highway passing someone. My passenger and I about crapped our pants, not fun in a 9 second car floored, you have little time to react! I pushed her in nuetral and turned off the key, coasted to the side of the road. The look on my passengers face...ouch!

    I fired up my Z 2 days ago after the snow/ice melted and man I miss it. That said I will really love it after I get the 6 liter in it or another Z!

    Nice job, you can spray that ceramic coat paint on them, it holds up pretty good. I did a set of Hooker long tubes 4-5 yrs ago, just sprayed and baked in an old oven and they have held all these yrs, look like new!

    I was thinking of using the small GM pancake type unit, you do not need much to cool a Z as the cabin is so tiny. My friend swapped a 5.3 in a Jeep and used this unit and it works great, plenty of cooling.

    I carry a 40 cal or 357, no need for a gun rack...LOL

    I have yet to decide as I am just finishing my build, probably where the battery used to be.

    Sweet, 4l80E will be in my set up, should have the motor dropped in with in 3-4 weeks. The the real work begins...yuck!
