  1. Hey Aux: I saw a subtitled movie about a year ago called Ameilie or something like that. She gave her Dad’s favourite garden gnome to a stewardess who took it around the world and sent back pictures of it in postcard type places. Then after a while she returned it to the garden. Drove him crazy. We could do this! We have members all over the world. What’s it cost to mail a beanie baby?
  2. Hey Paul: I'm using '93 Camaro rotors on the front of mine. You just have to swap the outer race and bearing with the one from the Z. I was under the impression that the most options to be had were with the newer Honda/ Integra wheel options.
  3. Matt (Datsunlover) and myself went up to see the shop last fall. He had no parts and couldn’t locate his molds. As local boys we now shop elsewhere. If you are so inclined, make one as Owen did. Check out his web sight.
  4. Wasn’t there a 350Z internet video out a while back about a 1/4 mile run where the guy was laughing because he put a piston through side of the block? What did he have done? It was quick. I searched but can’t find it. I like the stroker kit AC found. That and some boost.

    My new hood

Hey Owen: Thanks for the mention. That is an outstanding part. My hood didn't turn out any where near as nice as yours. I do recognize your latches though. How did you get the underside smooth enough to paint black? (Or how long) I didn’t realize Mr. K still did the shows. Did you ask that kid’s mom where to get the shoes? I would have.
  6. It took me a couple of tries but it worked. Nice run Jersey!
  7. It’s not that I am a nasty person…I just want to teach them to fly and help Charles get back to work on his car. You know ...kill two birds so to speak. I couldn’t resist.
  8. Jeeze Mat: I would have used compressed air on the low end and put them tweeters back in the trees were they belong. Propane would be another solution. Then back to work.
  9. I was thinking the same thing Dale. What ever happened to TV Tommy Ivo? He made some nice mult-motored cars. TV Tommy's story. http://www.hotrod.com/eventcoverage/113_0110_ivo/
  10. Hey Brian: I can see why you have taken so long to put up some posts. Looks like you have busy working on the car. That is a sharp looking ride. Does it run as well as it sparkles? 8)
  11. One day we decided to cover up all the dead grass from were the dog had peed on it over the winter so we sprayed it with some “grass paintâ€. The stupid dog rolled in it and I had a green Golden Retriever! Coffee sounds good Matt! I am hoping to get the V12Z back on the road for the OZC show in early August.
  12. Congratulations Brian. Ya it’s a real rush. 8) I had my first Z hybrid start in ’88. Open pipes. Timing out 180. Fire extinguisher. Black mark on the ceiling. I remember it like it was yesterday.
  13. Hey Matt; The car is starting to turn out nice. I love the wail tail. I did notice that the better the car looks the more the grass underneath dies.
  14. As a ol' dad I can say it is nice when my boys stopped make that noise and started bringing these things home. It was like the same day I think. Sigh... 8)
  15. I have the same issues with mine. It farts on deceleration. Remapping my fuel map to zero on deceleration was a help however the instant fuel is reapplied just above idle it pops. Drives me nuts. The exhaust is made up of headers, resonators, and fat cans. It’s an air tight 2 ½ " system. The racing V12s and turbo Porches at the track do the same thing. However Ed is right, the ladies don’t like it. I now suspect it is ignition timing related. Fuel not sparked in the cylinder making it’s way into the pipes?
  16. I had that on my heads too. (V12) I milled the heads and switched to a gasket with a S/S ring on it last summer. I wanted to switch to the pure glycol coolant but couldn’t find it up here. Time will tell.
  17. Put me down for two stickers and a hat. Please keep in mind us foreigners can’t use pay pal and have to use M-Os and snail mail. Thanks…

    Headers suck.

It was possible to do mine with a stick welder. I used stainless pipe and rod. It is still a pain though. I had the odd hole as well. A MIG would have been better.

    V10?

If you dig around the aftermarket Mopar sight you will also find a manual for installing the V10 into other cars. Very thoughtful people. 8) Your also going to need a computer and tranny.
  20. I was getting a few as well. I don't think the virus' are coming from our Z community directly. Norton looks after my mail now.
  21. Hey Mark: What pump are you going to use? Would you know if the STi pump rotates the same direction as a North American engine?
  22. Mat73GNZ wrote: “was put on hold while my life was sorted out†I can relate to that. I’m glad everything’s coming together for you. Post pics for us illiterate users.
  23. Hey Matt: Looks like Christmas came early at your place. Do you have a start up date in mind?
  24. I like it. At least no cats were hurt.
