  1. I wouldn't suggest eBay seats to anyone. You have no idea what sort of (if any) testing has been done to ensure safety and quality. Look for a brand that you know has done the research, be it in racing, OE applications or child safety seats (Recaro fits into all these categories).
  2. Doesn't look JDM though, bet it doesn't even have one of those things that whistle when you shift...
  3. I've been searching for a candidate for this for some time... Never bothered to look at Hyundai though. I'm working on restoring the sun visors, and all the hardware that the sun visors share with the mirror (I've even added a HomeLink module). A fresh mirror is the last piece of the puzzle, so I'll be watching this with great interest!
  4. Bump, still looking! I wasn't familiar with the 5 hole version of the Kaminari AD, so I didn't initially specify that I'm only looking for the 240z 3 hole version.
  5. http://sunroofexpress.net/popup.html Try here, they advertise SolarCool glass sunroof parts, perhaps they can help identity yours.
  6. That looks just like what I pulled from my 75'. If Z240 or Zentech can't help you shoot me a PM. Edit: Remembered I actually had a picture of it on my Photobucket account:
  7. They look like Nissan Cube tails. I've read a few posts talking about using them, never seen until now. Looks much better than I had imagined!
  8. I would be very mindful of the mix of coolant you run if you do that. An improper mix can eat up that thin walled port, especially if you take material away when you tap it. Tap only as deep as your plug! I only converted because the one I had (just like yours) was almost completely eaten through. I would just find a threaded one here, there is a lot more meat to them. With as many people parting out cars as we have, you should be able to find one in no time.
  9. I'm sure you can find a threaded one in the for sale section of this site; in the interim you can cut a length of hose and plug the end with a bolt and clamp. I wouldn't leave it that way for long though!
  10. Look up Gates 'PowerGrip' clamps; I haven't used them personally, but I plan on using them once I get to that point in my build. Very clean, and you can use some nice nylon sheathing over the hoses to really make things look good!
  11. Sent a message (text) to you earlier this morning, but I never received a reply. Work will be keeping me out of cell reception untill later this afternoon, so if you've since responded I'll get it then!
  12. It's another Datsun forum, but unlike HybridZ it isn't specific to one model line.
  13. It may not be a looker, but I'm betting you never drove the GT3 like you'll be driving this though!
  14. PM Cockerstar, he did mine. I have a few more pictures of his work in my gallery.
  15. What are the limits regarding heat and chemical resistance of the plastics available for this? I've had a project in mind that this would be great for, but it would be under hood (and close to the exhaust manifold) so perhaps not? Edit: It would also be in direct contact with oil...
  16. "This is the BOV That sounds like a splash right? If so i love this kind!! GLWS" ...and I'm reminded why I don't spend time on Zilvia...
  17. Hmmm.. If it is a fake, then it is a better one than the one in the comparison. Without more pictures, it's impossible to say for sure.
  18. I was going to tint the chrome to obtain the blacked out look, but black nickel would be even better!
  19. I'm interested! I would love a modern Nissan 'hamburger' emblem that says Datsun. What are your plans for finishing them? Plating, paint or something else?
  20. One on Zilvia right now... http://zilvia.net/f/sale-items/523695-fs-greddy-type-rz-bov-used.html
  21. Not sure if this is related, but I've been experiencing something odd as well... I wouldn't call it a problem exactly, but many of the pictures in my album aren't displaying correctly. Instead of displaying a thumbnail size version of pictures, I'm getting thumbnail size portions of the full sized images. Selecting them displays the pictures normally, but having a preview beforehand is nice.
  22. Why not just weld a new arm directly on top of the old one, only angled how you need it? The old pivot will be on the far side of the actuator arm, so there shouldn't be any interference, and if you ever want to go back to stock it will be as simple as grinding a few welds. A little ghetto, but why risk damaging something that's difficult to replace?
