  1. I paid 1,495 for the twin disc kevlar drag race clutch.I live less than 3 hours from 10,000 rpm and visited the location, the owner had a big black cowboy hat and just started grabbing parts off the shelf (It was too cool).I even saw a big block in a Nova with a 300rwh nitrous kit put down almost 900rwh on the on site dyno with one of their three disc clutches. The clutch and flywheel is only 13lbs , but it works much better than the sintred iron Clutch Specialties disc and 2600lb pressure plate that needed to be resurfaced every 5000 street miles. It`s very progressive and works well in a street/track car. http://www.10000rpm.com/
  2. OK, try this link http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2071134/5
  3. Just got several methanol leaks fixed and now it`s just some wiring and tuning. The methanol has it`s own regulator, fuel pump and 2 160lb injectors the AEM EMS will allow controll over the methanol under boost. http://new.photos.yahoo.com/sss510six/album/576460762337494092
  4. I look forward to lining up against your car this spring/summer.Nothing wrong with an L series turbo motors, you just have to run a big enough turbo.I still want a ride.....
  5. PM me I might have what your looking for lying around.
  6. You have an older CIS or Constant Injection System.I have had several Volvos with CIS and even converted a 510 4cyl and an L series 6 to CIS.You can activate the cold start injector under boost to gain a bit more fuel.I am not sure how to do the wiring for the Audi , but it`s possible. http://www.turbobricks.com/mods.php?content=art0021
  7. My advice is to stay away from dogleg 200sx trannys.I have locked those transmissions up in 1,3 and 5th gear.Another problem is that the dogleg transmission is 63cm and all zcar 4-5 speeds are 71cm.It would be much easier to just find a 71cm 5 speed.
  8. I remember seeing a lot of the twin cam 1800 Toyota motors as a common swap with sidedraft Mikuni`s back in the day.The S2OOO motor/tranny combo would be a great swap into either an old school Celica or a 510.
  9. Those are some very impressive #`s. I just bought a set of 2 160lb injectors from Five O Motorsports .It`s pretty crazy how the price of really huge injectors has come down in the last couple of years. http://www.fiveomotorsport.com/Injector_SetsMODS.asp
  10. Just ask anyone who has ever owned a VW or Porsche 911.It really sucks to have oil and exhaust fumes in your car.
  11. It`s really amazing how the aftermarket options for different sized axels and the 930 cv joints is.CB Performance is about 15 min away from myself and I was given a set of 930 cv`s. http://www.cbperformance.com/catalog.asp?ProductID=1353
  12. I dig on the Eclipse BOV, why isn`t it routed before your MAF?I look forward to seeing your car once the MS is installed.
  13. For a 300rwh car I would suggest trying to source a set of 280zx turbo pistons.I am running a N42/N42 combo right now in a built turbo N20 motor .I would use one of these HG for the 300rwh mark. http://www.racepages.com/parts/head_gasket/nissan/280zx.html
  14. I am going to convert over to a set of 930 cv`s once my supply of NISMO soild U joint halfshafts is exhausted. My plan was to use the U joint halfshaft stubs and to make the adaptors fit for use with one of the common size aftermarket 930 axels. My machinist tells me it would be NP to make the adaptors. http://cat.cip1.com/catalog.asp?pg=149

    T56 Rebuild

A large part of the reason I went to a local rebuilder was that He had a T56-016 kit for my particular tranny from Rockland Standard Gear.Getting the kit at close to cost and being able to handle 750rwh sold me. http://www.rsgear.com/RacePerformancefiles/frame.htm

    T56 Rebuild

I tried to dissassemble my T56 using a puller from Rockland Gear.I wasn`t` succesful and was told that T56`s can be real bears to take apart without the correct press and hydraulic pullers. But, I will post a link to Rockland Gear and this.http://para.noid.org/~lj/T56/T56.htm http://www.rsgear.com/kits.html http://www.ls2.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1877
  17. Anthony, the car looks great....so have you put the hurts on any Vipers lately?
  18. Mike you should be able to run a fuel cell with methanol and use a pump from one of the common methanol injections systems. The pumps are internally regulated and should work fine ran directly to a N20 system fuel solenoid.I have used an older Spearco water/alcohol injection kit with a higher flow 12v pump, with good results running a maxium of 12psi of boost on a small T4/T4 making 275rwh.With methanol I am not even going to run an intercooler(if you don`t count the N20 at the track) just using two large 160lb injectors injecting methanol at boost pressure above 6psi.What I really like using the AEM EMS is that very fine controll over the amount of methanol delivered is possible. It just requires the added complexitiy of a seperate fuel system tank, regulator, lines, injectors ect. But, the end results can be well worth the effort especially being able to make 450+ rwh on 91 octain pump gas. http://forum.aempower.com/forum/index.php?topic=10624.0 http://megasquirt.sourceforge.net/extra/stagedinj.html A similar setup could be used using the staged injection option in Mega Squirt. It`s also intersting to note how the prices on really large methanol compatable injectors has dropped.http://www.fiveomotorsport.com/Injector_SetsMODS.asp#cng150 Also SDS makes these really cool injector mounting bosses. http://www.sdsefi.com/eic.html

  20. I agree with Scottie, methanol would make a great supplemental fuel for N20.I use Klotz Uplon as a fuel addtive to conteract the corrosive effects of methanol.http://www.klotzlube.com/storeProdDetails.asp?pi=20 With methanol you shouldn`t need to add any lead additive.Just make sure that all of the system components are methanol compatable.
  21. I will keep you posted after the car is dyno tuned. http://new.photos.yahoo.com/sss510six/photo/294928803536486143/43 http://new.photos.yahoo.com/sss510six/album/576460762337492981/photo/294928803536455777/11 A non EGR manifold was cut apart and ported then welded back together. The manifold was ceramic coated inside and out afterwards, to assist with gas flow and to act as a thermal barrier.
  22. I have had lower tham ambient temps with my Icewater/Air IC ,on a 109* track temp my intake air temps were 71* at idle.I agree with Garrett it would be simpler and longer lasting to just put a methanol injection system on.I plan on doing one myself using two 160lb injectors in the intake track, lowering intake temps and adding octain can never hurt.
  23. I was reading a post about someone wanting to put a 2.3 Ford 4cyl Turbo (which should haul a** if it`s done right)motor in a 510 and an individual posted some pics of a twin turbo Ford SB project grafted into a 510.The car looks like it should be a demon . http://www.the510realm.com/PNphpBB2-viewtopic-t-5689.html
  24. It depends on what you want, for the money an L28 with a set of forged pistons would be a more cost effective way to go.I just like the way my current 3 liter comes up on the revs, the big turbo doesn`t hurt either. It sounds so cool. The current bore on my 3 liter is 87.5mm as I have run significant amounts of boost/N20 in the past with no problems.
  25. I have done the same thing on a couple of different occasions. Both times I used a speaker magnet from a 10" base that was trashed.Like Randy 77 I drained the oil and ran diesel in the crankcase , dropped the oil pump and used the magnet to guide the pieces to the magnet on the drainplug.A trick a friend taught me was to get a rare earth magnet from Radio Shack and to JB weld it to the drain plug.In both occasions I was able to move (a dowel on one occasion and a piece of wire that was hooked on to a Timing chain wedge on another) to the drain plug.
