I'll second that emotion......Swepco 201 is great stuff! Use it in my R200 LSD as well as my 5 speed gear box. I've been told by a reputable source that Swepco 201 is the only gear oil Porsche will use in their race cars....sounds good anyway!!! And it's a nice blue color...BFD!

Have you considered discussing this issue with the turbo manufactures and or fuel pump and regulator manufactures?

Do the light weight flywheel, you'll love it. I had heard all the old tales about them not being very friendly for street driving, which just didn't sound right to me, but after installing one and driving it I realized the Z drove much easier than before with the heavy stock flywheel. And in addition the car will accelerate better. John's point is, as usual, a good one.....learn to use the clutch with as little slippage as possible and it will live a normal life.

Sounds like you're correct in your assumption. Air will flow in the path of least resistance. I think that when you open the vents, the air pressure in front of the radiator drops slightly......hence, less air flow through the radiator. You may consider flushing out your cooling system and if you have a clutch fan, check it for proper function too!

Flash, As John suggests, doing a search will provide you with a ton of info regarding your question....or any question on Z cars you may wish to ask. Basically, any of the early carb type intakes will work well and will bolt right up to your N42 head. Just be sure to use a really good gasket between the head and manifolds!

John, are you trying to cause some trouble again? Maybe it's time to go back out in the shop and fabricate something....it will make you feel way better! Just thank goodness we don't pay the same prices as are payed across the pond. Shoot the way I see it, oil prices will only go so high! Why you might ask! People might just stop buying cars all together (yah right). What good is a car if you can't have gas to make it go. Do you all think GM, FORD, and the rest have lobbying power.....maybe enough to influence the oil gods? Hmmmmmmmmm!
