for starters your tire size is smaller than stock, so that accounts for a 2.7% difference according to this tire size calc. http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html stock tires are 195/70-14 The rest could be from a swapped diff or maybe the guage is just old and reading high.

Ok so my machine shop had this diff laying around, said it belonged to a person who used to race 240z's. That is all the background I have on it. IT is a 27 spline count with what looks like a key spline, or one large spline. Also I took apart a spare r180 I had and test fit the ring gear and it is almost a perfect match, also the bolt holes match up to the ring gear. Everything about this but the splines scream it is for an r180. Hopefully I will be able to fit it in my 4.11 r180. Some pics, hopefully you can see the big spline

Not this type. They have the old fashioned front lip and then all the air dams that come in the kits.

Let me please start off by saying sorry because we have so many front lip threads. OK so this is purepontiackids car and he found this lip and the side skirts in the junkyard. Apparently they are Kaminari and he had to do a lot of work to get the front looking as good as it does. I like it because it fills out the front and it still utilizes the original bumper I want to know if anyone knows where I can get this front airdam/lip. Nothing on yahoo japan yet. If you have a spare one I'm willing to pay for it also.

It comes from JDM land so its probably only available in the JDM. Try yahoo japan auctions. Or its a custom lip, but probably not.

I need one also but with the o2 bung. It's going in my 280zx, it has to be the 6-2-1 to clear the steering. Preferably 2.5in

Hey, I was wondering how all you're windows hold up in day to day driving. I'm thinking about making one for my 280zx hatch, but I will be daily driving the car so I don't want it leaking, or cracking from stress. I was thinking a nice coat of RTV on the inside and outside along with quite a few screws holsing it in should keep water out. Please share your experiences. Hi, I'm looking for a 280zx coupe rear hatch with or without glass, with no rear wiper or wiper fluid nozzle. I'm looking for the base model. I will take a hatch with the wiper hole only if it does not have glass so I can weld up the holes. I'm located in Socal and Do not want to pay for shipping. Also not looking to pay a lot. You can find those engine fairly easily in the junkyard, auto tranny and all. Give me a call and I'll come with.

The cylindrical thing on your fender should be your fuel filter. That fuel return line valve is what I'm guessing is an attempt to manually regulate the fuel flow because the car doesn't have any kind of fuel pressure regulator mounted. You should also very thoroughly go through the FSM's wiring diagram and see what FI is not being used anymore and remove it. If it is getting power and sending electricity to the clips or whatever you are asking for an engine bay fire. You should be able to separate the FI harness from the chassis harness anyway. And when I say FI harness I mean the fuel injector clips, MAF clip and most the the extra items on the old manifold.
