B00STDZ
Miley Cyrus is HOT... I hope I can't get in trouble for saying that and her only being 17... but it's the truth. Those legs in that video, and the fact she gets out of a TA... the video that prox posted is not miley...

bschiltz
It's ok JSM. I have to admit that I like Lady Gaga. "Bad Romance" makes my heart flutter.
cygnusx1
I like stuff from the 20's right up to current "pants on the ground". Some sucks and some doesn't. There is good and bad in every genre. I never restricted my listening. Generally I like anything with a good melody, a good message, or good energy. I am a bit surprised that I enjoy Big-Band quite a bit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BY0CezOWFGs Probably comes from growing up with Tom and Jerry lol. S30TRBO
Okay, I'm 40 and getting older so my music taste is from the late 70's and 80's in general. But I really like this song: http://new.music.yahoo.com/miley-cyrus/videos/view/party-in-the-u-s-a--218591175 Jeff, Come back before its too late........ rturbo 930
Ever listen to Kyuss? Josh Homme's previous band. Very good, harder than QOTSA, sludgier stoner rock. Whitewater: Space Cadet: I have heard of them, but haven't heard any of their music. I'll check them out.

MAG58
You're missing out. There's plenty of good music still being made, and you would be a fool to think otherwise. Off the top of my head, some kinda similar bands are Muse, Franz Ferdinand, The Strokes... I'm not sure what kind of music you are into exactly but there is a lot out there. You act like I haven't, I was referring to the genre more than the single band. I'm not here to banter on about all the things i like, that could take days. Though I will say that there is good odds that anything on the radio is mindless.

junglist
This thread amuses me, it also made me realize I am probably the only person on this message board that listens to what I do. Its probably not your cup of tea. I imagine not many of you listen to hip-hop either? I'm 28 but I've listened to electronic music since I was 14/15yrs old after I heard a Ministry album and fell in love with industrial. I haven't listened to almost any "rock" music since then...I still love speed metal though. I listen to dubstep which is slowed down, distorted and filtered drum & bass / jamaican dub music. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JzX5FlXVbx4 - Chasing Shadows - Ill (NSFW) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNAC8APZymA - Skream - Midnight Request Line http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H--S4GGOTUM - DZ - What U Won't Do for Love
