  1. My wife and I watched the movie in the theater and when she said that every guy in there started groaning and complaining. The guy in front of us said, "She was looking soooo hot until she screwed that one up..."
  2. Just curious as it may pertain to this problem... Does MS still have issues with Vista? My brother had a similar issue uploading his firmware with his new laptop. I had him go back to his old XP desktop and it uploaded perfectly.
  3. I would hold onto the engine. If you use the F54 block and pistons with the N42 head and a 2mm head gasket you will be pushing roughly 9.5:1 compression and still be able to maintain high octane pump gas (just nothing lower).
  4. If you're rebuilding it for racing or on the edge performance it's probably great insurance, but for the most part I think it's over kill.
  5. Not sure this helps, but I've had the same problems when I didn't use NGK Copper plugs. It seems like my Z will foul anything else I put it in it within a month.
  6. See the R in BPR? That means Resistor, which is how they do noise suppression.
  7. I realize that many people are probably working today (although I whole heartedly disagree with that), but please remember that we need to sit back and thank our troops from the past to the present for their service to our country and the great sacrifices they've made over the centuries. Without the fighting forces of the United States, not just our country, but many countries would be ruled by dictators and cruel factions bent on the destruction of millions. Not to mention that aside from fighting our troops work in aid camps and help to rebuild desimated and disaster ridden areas of the world. We tear down regimes and rebuild great nations. We end hunger, and create education centers. We hunt down terrorists and lift up freedom in the name of humanity. As with all the great nations through out history, we could not be who we are today without our military men and women. THANK YOU! J.C. Buseman Former U.S. Army Soldier 1999-2003
  8. Judging by the stickers I'd say it's a rotary engine Z. Neat, but not quite my cup of tea.
  9. I wonder if the throttle body cleaner got in the Auxiliary Air Valve and ate part of the diaphragm causing it to leak? It's possible and easy to test. That I know is in the Haynes manual. The little black box you're referring to is the Throttle Vane Switch.
  10. Hmm, not that I would know anything about this (Net+ Certified technician with over 9 years experience in networking and systems support), but I thought at the minimum a network cut sheet is a must when laying out a network. If I have to troubleshoot a units (USMC) network the first thing I ask for is a cut sheet or diagram. If they can't produce that I tell them to let me know when they get one done. I refuse to try to rework stupidity.
  11. I do exact phrases with the quick search by putting my search phrase in quotes.
  12. The hole on the pedal itself is suppose to have a rubber nipple in it that pushes on the button.
  13. Good luck and thank you for doing it the right way!
  14. I had heard about this a while ago, but it is amazing isn't it?
  15. With the 3.0 board you should run with the first diagram.
  16. Compression would be more than that I believe. The E31 head should net some decent power in sheer quench and combustion. I wouldn't give it much over stock horsepower for an L28e though.
  17. Computer and Network Systems Technician for a Marine Corps Contract.
  18. Canvas sunroof is definetely after market and I've never seen one on a Z. The only car that comes to mind with that mod is the original Volkswagen Beetle.
  19. You know, this sounds just like a reversed battery. Remember the positive side is next to the fender and the negative toward the engine.
  20. More than likely the country the scammer comes from doesn't allow women to have a license so it makes sense to him.
  21. On the note of the reverse battery hookup, my father did that to my first Z while I was in basic training. He left it sitting in the driveway then decided to charge the battery and get it running right before I came home. The battery was so dead that it took the charge backwards. When he hooked it up it fried the fusible links. Guess I was lucky because it didn't damage anything. I took the battery into Advance, they didn't believe me until they put the battery on the test/charge machine and it told them the terminals were backwards. Reversed the cables and it checked out good. They gave me a free replacement even though the warranty was up just over 30 days. Replaced the fusible links and the car started right up and ran for another couple years with no problems.
