    Mine would not fire either, until I stared at it for a while and noticed the fuel lines were reversed.

    Pressure test the cooling system to check for bad engine seals be fore you spend a dime on tune up parts!

    I will be there. I took my SR20DET powered dime on it's maiden voyage yesterday . To say it is pretty fast is an understatement. HEHE!!! John Will be starting My Z project very soon now.

    You wont show any OP with the distributer removed. The dist. seals the oil gallery. Try looking down the Dist hole when spinning the pump with a drill. You should see lots of oil flowing about 5" down the hole. if you see a gusher, then you got plenty of oil.

    When I have a part that is to long to place in the oven, I use the broiler, with the door open, and do one half at a time. Works just fine.

    I believe you must be very careful not to get to lean as alky will burn pistons in a heartbeat. BTDT! My experiance was in karts so it may not apply. I burned down engines all the time.
