  1. We have used it in truck beds and also did our z car engine compartment. It looked kinda bright at 1st but now has calmed down. To see pictures go to http://www.flickr.com/photos/37783328@N08/ John
  2. We use a Griffin radiator with no issues. But yet we are mainly a drag car not street. John
  3. I had to ping one ot the header tubes pretty good on my setup, I also run the short ngk or autolite racing plugs. I also had to put like 4 header gaskets on that side to help also. I used the red high heat permitex to glue each header gasket to itself and have never blown one. That dent / ping in the tube will not take away from power, at least on my application it did not. I use the MSD 8.8 mm wires with the fire proof red jacket to cover the whole wire and then use the fire proof boot cover from msd. Never a problem with a burnt plug wire since. John
  4. Looks GREAT Dale, we look forward to seeing it in afew days. Jerry
  5. Nice, Very Nice. How much do think it will weight? Jerry
  6. I would call RBS Superchargers and talk to JR. They probably rebuild them and the website can give you an estimate on how much it would cost. http://www.rbssuperchargers.com Complete Blower Restrip: Prices starting at $350.00 Includes 4 seals, teflon and nylatron, inspected and clean blower, check timing and all surfaces of supercharger. I have used them twice and now I use Littlefield. John
  7. Here is the engine bay after we rinolined it and with nitrous motor installed.
  8. Here is the engine bay before we rinolined it and with out the engine. WE had to replace the cross member due to it being bent from doing wheelies when it hit going back down. You will notice the engine motor mounts in the pics but we took them off because we use a motor plate.
  9. We run the foam in the cell and most people I know do the same. The foam helps with fuel agitation and sloshing around. I would research this for what type application you are going to use it for like drag racing, road rally etc..... John
  10. Please follow this link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/37783328@N08/ Shows our new paint job / scheme and also some body modifications along with other modifications. ps: still need to wet sand and buff but ran out of time. John and Jerry

  12. You need to look at Warrens Z, he has replaced his and it looks good. I think he used mustang tail light assembly. John
  13. I watched it and was not impressed. The stunts at the beginning of the move were good. One scene when the charger floored it the butter flys of the bug catcher were not even open (fake). Also I dought they would actually drive the charger in all that dust. They could also do a better job of doing wheelies, I mean it is just too fake.... I think the 1st and 3rd one were better than this one. I did like the scene of the FBomb apperance. John
  14. Sweet Gabe, Zcar looking good as well. Congrats on the numbers. John and Jerry

  19. I met up with Rip and his son in November, and I puchased his CSU blow through carb for our tt setup. We talked for a couple of hours, his son Rippley is racing a 7.00 class (1/8th)with a mustang and Dad and son are having a blast.Rip told me he retired the Zebra and his nephew or cousin has the car now. Rip has a TT firebird on alky racing the 4.70 class. I called him in Dec and talked for a few minutes, and all was going well.Jerry

  22. It is a Holeset I picked up from a friend($300.00). It is brand new the bill in the box had a cost of $1500.00. The Comp side measured 75mm. I have that and two WH1E holesets. I am trying to decide which to go with. I need to find out what comb would make the most HP. The single 75mm or twin 58mm on my 355 sbc. Jerry
