  1. Of those, E30 325i(s). If I were in the market with that budget, that's what I'd go for.
  2. Yeah, I'm learning already that I should have learned my trig better in HS, and I'm only in my first year. Trig kills me.
  3. I'm with these guys. I'll take my Zs with the factory hard top, thanks. The Z was not meant to be a roadster, targa, convertible, etc.
  4. There's nothing stopping the owner from buying a new shell and swapping it all over...
  5. Yeah I think you're talking about brian510, and he sold the car early last year. I kinda wish he had kept all his videos up though. It seems that he got rid of any evidence he ever owned the car.
  6. Nice new wheels, and car - but PLEASE lower that thing.
  7. Try asking or searching on classiczcars.com. This is more up their ally than ours.
  8. It timed out literally about 2 minutes ago.
  9. I would store it at your buddy's place. You don't NEED to have the car within 5 minutes of you at all times, it's just more convenient. You also don't NEED to work on the car, it's just fun to do so, since I'm assuming it's not your DD. Doesn't sound like it is. IMO, the extra charge for a place with a garage sounds like a luxury fee in this case just to keep your Z close.
  10. I've definitely seen some 15+ minute videos on streetfire.net, but +1 on Vimeo, MUCH better quality.
  11. I've gotten it on and off the past day or two.
  12. I say "Daht-sun" and I think my dad does too. Not sure, since we pronounce a lot of things differently, despite the fact I was raised a whopping 500ft from where he was.
  13. Might as well make it an even dozen.
  14. If that's your attitude for being CHP, I say BP.
  15. How many people do you think would buy them if they didn't have sidewalls? My guess would be "not a lot." Not to mention, the way it is now, dirt and whatnot can get stuck in there... Granted they ARE street tires, but some of us like to go "offroading" once in a while.
  16. Yep, I thought so too, I think by a guy with the username "FantaZ" Glad everyone is ok.
  17. FWIW, my parent's '78 280Z has a 10/77 build date.
  18. I wouldn't bother with it. Maybe I'm just cheap, but I wouldn't even think of touching that car, not for $500, and not even for $350.
  19. I think a nice, fairly dark metallic blue would look great.
  20. User CP --> Edit email and password.
  21. Good to hear it's all working out, and also good for him for speaking up.
