Ugh! I went and looked at it again today. Interior is decent except seats which are shot and fading in the 1/4 window plastics. I kept having this thought in my head with my Dad saying, "I wouldn't give more than $500 for that piece of crap!" He was cheap and the I'm not much better! He always had the logic of offer cheap, if they don't take it another one will always come along.

I grew up with my dad owning a White 73 240z with a red interior. I've owned a bunch of Z's here and there, but never a white/red combo. In fact I don't recall seeing any for sale in FL. My dad has recently passed away. This was him and I and his Z back in 77. Anyway, I've found a white / red combo recently. Although it wasn't officially for sale he would take $3K and he is firm on that. Rust isn't too bad it's been in storage for years. Neat thing he has documents back to new, though he is the second owner. I've just never paid such a high amount for a non-running car, however, I've never found a white/red combo before. Thoughts, keep searching? I still search regularly all over FL and don't ever see white ones. I'm not sure about prices elsewhere but they have gone up in FL. Anyone have a white / red combo for sale? Know of one for sale?

No not running. I was thinking of all the right hand drive parts. Dash, steering rack, etc. for a right hand conversion. I guess if were S30 then the interest for a right hand conversion would be more. The other parts are fairly easy to come by.

Found a z rusty as can be. Was thinking of purchasing just to move the parts. Is there anything that is worth that much for the effort? I bought one of the braces to be able to run the finned cover for S30 on the CLSD. Does anyone who recall who was making it or have a pic of theirs mounted? Or the original post? Thanks!

If you've owned a Z long enough I think we all have run across our brake lights staying due to the rubber or plastic grommet wearing and then falling out. Is this intentionally designed to fail over the years? Is it necessary to be rubber for wear on the switch? Today I walk out and realize my brake lights are on in my 2002 frontier. At first I thought I left my lights on. Drive home to realize my truck has the same rubber or plastic style grommet that the Z has. The only difference now my brake lights were on and my ABS light came on too. Talk about a complete pain to put a bolt in that hole. I finally had to remove the front seat to be able to get enough room to work. What was odd the clutch switch didn't have one.
