  1. So I was searching around last night and came across this... http://www.picotech.com/picoscope-3000.html "Digital Oscilloscope" I would assume it's just as accurate as a standard benchtop one. What do you guys think? I'm looking to get a semi cheap Oscilloscope as it would add much needed information to all the electronics that I modify and play with. -Ed
  2. I can't remember where i read it, but i found a graph of minimal CFM needed to cool certain displacements, and I think 2400cfm is like the minimum for our cars, I could be wrong here. -Ed
  3. I don't want to eat into your bag of tricks here, but alot of us Houston guyz and more and more Z guys are running MS so we have alot to play with to tune. My understanding was to tune by AFR and color burn in the piston, this would yield the best mpg and torque/hp? -Ed
  4. I'll stick with my 30$ gauges till I can afford a complete set of Dephi gauges. -Ed
  5. nicely done, i wanted to do this along time ago with the leather heated option as well I'm still saving lol. -Ed
  6. see now that to mee looks like it would almost cause lift... forcing air that that has to go under the spoiler to go down more. Hard to explain, but in my head that looks like a reverse wedges shape, which would cause lift, like an airplane wing. -Ed YOu beat me with more pics, the second batch sounds more of like what i'm designing, fromt the lower front lip, back to the cross support, then from there back to the tranny tunnel.
  7. I did a couple searches but couldn't come up with the size for the Oil pressure sending unit. It looks about like a 1/8" npt, but i'm positive the Z block didn't use an npt thread on it. That would be way too easy. So I was looking on Egauges to try and get the right sender for the VDO gauge i'm gonna run. Thye have m10 and m12, but it looked more like an M8 to me if we go by metric bolt sizes. and of course they have the 1/8 npt fitting, but they also have a 1/8" NPTF not sure what the F stands for? they also have a 1/8"-28 BSP fitting, I'm guessing this is a british standard? If anybody knows that'd be great. It's not easy for me to get to the hardware store to try and find a match to determine the thread type and pitch. Thanx again, ED
  8. I run the ecstas on my Z w/ 17's and my g/f has them on her Maxima w/ 17's. They are an EXCELLENT tire for the money. They beat out some good years and G-force tires in the wet for alot less money. NO, they are not race tires, they are street tires. But I have a tough time getting them to break in my car unless it's wet. -Ed
  9. looks pretty sturdy from your last drawing and what you said your going to add. -Ed
  10. I'm gonna PRETEND like i didn't come across this thread mike. -Ed
  11. this is why you use fuses... they are cheaper to replace than an MS computer. -Ed
  12. lmao.. that's how it's starting to get in Houston... lol
  13. so the sensus is that seafoam does clean the deposits off though? without damaging injectors and rubber hoses and such with it's cleaning chemicals? -Ed
  14. ALSO nissan senders are getting hard to come by... eventually they will be obsolete, unless a company starts reproducing them. -Ed
  15. congrats on your sucesfull conquest -Ed
