I thought you were talking about HP but if you are talking about gearing the 240sx 5 Speed is much better for cruising at highway speeds then the Z 5 Speed.

I really don't know anything about your motor but my original L28 that was cracked from an overtorqued head bolt started to leak coolant as soon as I filled it up after I put a new headgasket on. Obviously I hope this isn't the case but how old is your block and what are you using for head bolts?

The PO of my Z31 put non-electronic struts in my car and I think that is one of the main causes of my squat/roll issues. That and stock springs. Not sure how brand new electronic struts would pan out, the trailing arm suspension is not ideal to begin with. Good luck and tell me how your new suspension stuff works out - I need to update mine eventually.

Don't forget the 240sx tranny. In short it can go into an S30 with a modified tranny mount and driveshaft, you use the S30 5 Speed housing on the 240sx gearbox. Search for details

Trying to stay away from the issues I'm going through with and leave them for my Megasquirt thread. Here's an update: I got the car running for a while Saturday then something crapped out. I bought a MSD 6A unit today, hopefully I can get the car running off that. When I was in Baton Rouge I got two volvo intercoolers from Forrest and and LC1 Wideband from Mat [Thanks guys]. I also had a 87 Z31 Turbo Dizzy that I took apart and put the internals into my 83 housing. Hopefully the 6A will come in soon and I can get to work. I still have lots to do to get the car back on the road [tuning and such] and school starts Monday. This motor doesn't gain much performance with cheap mods. If you want real results, save up your pennies and do a PROPER upgrade [turbo, cams etc] or do a swap [V8, RB, whatever]. Saying you want a lot of performance for not a lot of money right after you said you spent a large portion of your budget on aesthetics [rims] doesn't help. There is plenty of information on here and if you would have read the forum rules it already says this and directs you to use the search function and stickies. Good luck with your project.

Well it has been done before, but 6 injectors > 2 EFI Intake Manifolds are cheap.
