  1. Wow, it's elvis in all stages of his life, pre and post donut addiction.
  2. Depending on how efficient your cooling system is, you can venture towards the 12.0 side of things at wot runs, just make sure your fueling system and wastegate are top notch to prevent any overboosting or unexpected lean conditions as well.
  3. Yes it is a tried and true method for pulling some vacuum on the PCV system. Here's one example: http://www.teglerizer.com/triumphstuff/emissions/emissions_exhaustscavenging.htm Here is a Great comparison of most of your options: http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=1199935
  4. Wow I remember growing up and playing the N64, and how BAD those controllers were. Whoever designed those things should have been shot. Any reason you're not going with some of the newer consoles?
  5. Dude I think I would up and vomit right there if I came out and saw someone did that to me. That SUCKS.
  6. Apparently NGK is using a new part number system or something, according to the last parts store I went to. Perhaps that's why they had such trouble looking it up lol.
  7. Nope, there's nothing adverse that happens. The car will be a bit of a bugger when it's cold out until it warms up though. You have to set the idle via the throttle body, it takes a bit of tweaking to get it right. If you don't mind the clutter, keeping the stock idle equipment will make your life easier. I like the clean look and can deal with the funky cold starts. The z31's ecu is anything but modern, lol.
  8. The vg30e uses 4 studs and 4 bolts for the lower intake manifold. It can get stuck on there pretty good, but usually a few quick raps with a rubber mallet works to free it. It'd be damn near impossible to get it centered correctly using all bolts.
  9. this program makes me want to vomit. Quite possibly the worst program related to automobiles in the history of the US.
  10. Haha thanks man. No love from the s30 crowd though
  11. I pity the fool that hits motoman.
  12. All american turbo cars from 4/87 to 89. I've seen some Canadian 87's that have had an CLSD, and some that haven't (build date was after 4/87). Shiro's (1988 special edition) came with a VLSD.
  13. gold really looks great on damn near any colour of car I think. I've always been into the more non-conventional things before though.
  14. Routing it off of the compressor will give you the best anti-boost-spike control, routing it off of the intake manifold will give you the most accurate control, especially if your boost gauge is pulled from the same source.
  15. Z31's don't have diagnostic ports, you have to make one using the supplied nistune hardware and the 'select screw' port. M30's take a bit to get working correctly, Russ84, bemis and zmech from z31performance know what's up with the M30 stuff.
  16. First startup after 3 years of sitting off and on and a major overhaul, changing everything but the bottom end. Pretty damn excited that it fired up first try without any issues really. Hopefully more running vids to come soon, sorting out a few issues now!
  17. Yeah it will, however when you stretch a tire, does it not change the overall diameter of the tire itself? That's what I'm thinking the calculators miss. Maybe the effects are negligible and I'm overreacting, but that's what I do lol.
  18. Yeah I've been there lots, I'm just wondering about overall diameter to try and keep the speedo accurate.
  19. Scottish, English and Irish background here. Would it surprise you that I have freckles?
  20. Does anyone know if any of those take stretch into consideration when making the calculations?
  21. Most people say that and I have no idea why
  22. There are some places that have a graduated licensing system where the person has time and passenger limitations. In BC they have rules where someone with their "N" (black and green magnet with the letter N on it, about 5x6" large) may not be driving past midnight, have more than 2 passengers in their car without someone 25 or older present, and as many as they want with someone 25 or older present. I'm sure this isn't the cause, but there's a good possibility similar laws are in place in other areas that may cause somewhat of a hassle for drivers
