Yes that is your wastegate and housing, needed for your application? well you have to have some sort of a wastegate, either the one pictured or a standard t3 wastegate or an adapter flange and an external wastegate, and I have no idea why your turbo has that port? never seen one like that

if anyone would do a search youd see what junk they are, save your money ! get a Precision Gear Power Brute they are like $600 new and it's a real LSD not just a coupla plates and springs to wedge into your open diff

I am using the VLSD carrier from an 88SS in my 71, I used a 78 case and gears, I am running mine with the stock 78 outputs shafts and halfshafts, I cut 1/4" off of one of the output shafts and the circlips do not line up and engage properly! my car is primarlily autocross and drag, it sees very little street use, I have had no problems from this set up, I've been running it like this for over 3 years, the vlsd uses unequal length output shafts that have their circlip grooves in very different parts of the shafts and the one shaft is much longer than the standard output shaft, I of course can not recomend this set up as it does not positively lock the shafts in but it seems to work fine

I almost bought a set ogf those a while back, when they had them listed specifically for the z car on special, but they never responded to my emial? so I spent more on some ugly but lighter kodiac's

looks great, I'd suggest like mike said just get some angle aluminum and weld it to the side drill a coupla holes and bolt it to the core support just like the stocker

Dave, when I asked you for a fitment of the upper hose you gave me the car quest part number. I asked again for the fitment, you gave me the carquest part number. when I specifically asked for a fitment due to lack of carquest in my area (found one in my city just inconvienient) you said you'd look into it and get back to me, you never responded. I went to carquest and bought the hose you suggest, it's entirely too large at one end, if you planned on that hose why not make the upper nipple 1.5" so this hose would actually fit? The lower hose; you said to use the 280ZX hose (you didn't specify year, I got the 83 model?) this thing was huge and was only going in kinked and cut but I knew the 280Z hose would be a closer fit. I went and got a 280 hose and the lower fitting is in t he wrong location and causes the hose to kink, I put the radiator in the lower position and it still kinks, why didn't you just mount the nipple higher on the tank? The radiator hangs low but you did mention that in your discription, I'll just have to be carefull loading and unloading. From all the issues I have to assume you found a fitment of radiator readily manufactured and you buy them off the shelf and add the mounting brackets and resell them. I was expecting something a bit more plug and play. I will make it work and I am sure it will do an excellent job of cooling. I have been disappointed in the lack of details provided for what you sell and a "mod for a z car" not a "radiator that you say can be made to work if you can find the right parts". On a positive note; Pallnet, I love the fuel rail fits and looks great !

I seem to recall a memnber here that had a single SU drawthrough set up a few years ago, the thing is injection is just more reliable and offers more broad range tuning

comence poo flinging

I hate to poke in but I am gonna guess this business about "true Psi" is from using bleeder style boost controllers? so if you have a fuzzy logic unit you set it and it is static....if I am wrong just use the robotic arm to fling poo in my general direction holy crap I can't type

made my first sucessfull Tig weld on sunday, and half of it even looks good, I'm having trouble adding material, I think perhaps some contaminants on the filler rods as well ?

I thought the adapters were for the later model zxt shafts as well, and you might have to pull the spindlepin from the strut housing to swing it out enough to get it bolted on, also if your ordering them from autozone you might try 2 of the shorter shafts (passanger side?) if I recall correct

Yes I should have spend the money and gone for your solution, I just wanted simple streight hoses without any frankenhose drama, guess thats too much to ask, and I am glad to see I am not the only one with issues from arizona Z car, if I had ti to do over again, i would have gotten the jegs unit or the MSA, more money for better support or less money for the same support I get from arizona z car
-
S130 Chassis uses an inline motor which makes it much easier to work on, also parts ar the S130 are cheaper, that being said build what you love, I would build them both
-
cutting the zx hose isn't an option as it would not lineup once cut down enouh and the 280 hose has the same result but in a different way, it's hard to explain without seeing them in place I am just suprised a disappointed that arizona z car doesn't even know what they are selling!?

any standard 5pin automotive relay will work fine unless your running some god awefeul high amp pump

so I paid a bit more and got the Arizona Radiator casue I figured it was tried and true and the fit and the hoses would be a no brainer.....WRONG, he told me I needed a 280ZX lower hose and I thought that sounded wrong but tried it anyway, way too long not a chance of that thing going in, so today I tried a 78 280Z lower hose and it will go in but it has to kink as the posituion of the lower hose is up too high, the upper hose part number he provided is too big at one end! and this think sits about 3" below my lower core support, I told him when I paid that this was an early 71 if that matters but nothing has worked right, for all the drama I could have saved a hundred bucks and gone to jegs or summit! I guress I should have paid even more yet and got the MSA kit! anyhow anyone get one of these things piped in and working? what hoses are you using!? I am pulling my hair out and I have to get this thing back together!
-
keep in mind those numbers are with alcohol injection and or intercooler, if it's just the stock J-pipe, 10 psi is the limit
-
as I recall it can be done but required block modifications, which makes it cheaper and easier to just use the whole VG30DETT but for the life of me I can't figure out why you would want to? don't get me wrong the VG30ET and VG30DETT are both great motors but the extra parts and expence required for the twin car are just not worth it the power potential is quite similar, I guess the twin cam is a better platform if you must have over 600 whp

I would suspect the COIL or the wiring , when my ignitor went bad the car died on the interstate! and wouldn't restart! ever! till I replaced the egnitor! ok now I'm just having fun with exclamation marks!

240z Hub Dimensions

I can't be of much help but I had to have the center holes in my wheels bored to 2.9" to clear the whole center portion completely, I think your spacer is gonna have to be studcentric as the tapered cone is cast and not machined, so it's not gonna be precice unless you have the cone machined which you could do in a step formation to allow for a hubcentric ring? -
again, I don't want any frankenhoses, and I already have a radiator, there has to be a fricken "S" shaped hose with 1-3/8" ends that is intended to fit something
-
am I the only one that has a problem with running a pieced together hose with spacers and bushings and adaptors? call me a dork but I just want a one solid hose that fits... ?
-
went to car quest, got the specified hose, $21! after getting over the sticker shock of the short upper hose I test fitted it and the small end is tight! and the big end to way too big! are you guys sure on that part number? anyone have a different one?

Engine swap postponed due to two small sheets of metal . . .

I have no idea what kind of BOV comes stock on and RB20 but from my experience most quality name brand BOV's use one of 2 flanges easily bought from anyone selling BOV's, as for the downpipe MSA now offfers a mandrel bent stainless downpipe made to fit the s30 chassis and it's already got the propper flange (around $300), if you wanted to make your own downpipe you can buy standard T3 flanges from many suppliers, I got one from cheapturbo.com a year or 2 ago, they might have your BOV flange as well I havn't shopped them in a while -
the problem I'm having is all the OE cables seem to be too long and the locar doesn't hook up to the 240sx throttle cable the way i want it too, I want one that has and end like the stock 240sx but short enough to not be coiled in
