For what engine? For the L28ET It's a standard T3 flange. I think some of the 4 cylinder engines used a T25 flange.

Is the l28E coolant sensor different than a 240z?
evildky replied to zboi's topic in Nissan L6 Forum
For clarification I believe this would be a temperature "sender" as opposed to the "sensor" which the fuel injected models used in addition to the "sender' used for the gauge. -
A Excellent Video on A Complete Body Restoration of a 240Z car
evildky replied to toolman's topic in Body Kits & Paint
Found this series recently myself. moves kinda quick, no commentary. And they started with a pretty good chassis, at least compared to mine. -
Interesting build.

Your blowby cant get out because the manifold is pressurized, thereby pressurizing your crankcase. Your block vent should either go before the turbo, which would mean making some sort of adapter between your filter and the turbo or route it to a catch can.

Flush Mount Windshield anyone done it?
evildky replied to mutantZ's topic in S30 Series - 240z, 260z, 280z
I considered it. decided to minimize non reversible mods. The photoshop I don't think shows what it would actually look like. you basically would have painted metal up to the center of where the stainless trim mounted in the windshield gasket. -
The 88-89 300ZX Turbo got bigger brakes and they bolt on all 5 lug Z31's. Quality pads are the single best bang for the buck improvement.

T3 Long Nose R180/R200 CV Axles for 240/260/280Z
evildky replied to FJOVA's topic in S30 Series - 240z, 260z, 280z
No experience wiht this particular product but T3 has always treated me well. They have good customer service and support. If you have questions I recommend you all or email them. -
370z breaks on my 240z good enough?
evildky replied to Joe0690's topic in Brakes, Wheels, Suspension and Chassis
My 370Z has the sport brakes (Akebono) wiht track pads on a 3300 lb car, they are overkill imho. Bigger issue is figuring out the correct master cylinder. -
Looks like it may have had one of those horrible vinyl tops with additional trim.

Detailed Videos on Complete Bodywork of S30 Datsun
evildky replied to toolman's topic in Body Kits & Paint
These are great, I stumbled upon them a while back and initially brushed them off because of how they handled the inner rocker patch. They do an overall amazing job. It amazes me the detail work they do on a completely hidden part. They did an amazing job making the sub par Tabco rockers and patches work. then I was a bit disappointed how they handed the battery tray patch and the inner fenders above the TC bucket. -
There were a couple of well done twin turbo builds way back, Thaggard was one of them, cant remember the other name, search I'm sure it'll come up.

It's been a while but I thought the two were nearly identical aside form the booster bolt hole pattern. again my memory may be a bit fuzy at this point.

2021 l28et connecting rod questions, OEM limits, Forged options, etc
evildky replied to Sideways's topic in Nissan L6 Forum
Sorry I'm not mush help here but the stock rods are plenty beefy, there were guys making big power on stock rods a decade or two ago. There might be something said for the reducing the rotating mass wiht newer engineered rods, the OE's are beefy making them strong and heavy. Id hazard a guess you can improve strength and reduce rotating mass wiht a newer engineered rod. just my .02 -
SOLD! 1973-ish Datsun 240Z with V8 from 1997 Trans Am
evildky replied to kenny_b's topic in Cars for Sale
It's got 280 front and 280 back, the vine number will tell for sure what year it is. Title sounds like it might be wrong, might be an issue getting an out of state transfer if it's titled incorrectly. The vin is what matters when licencing.- 15 replies

SOLD! 1973-ish Datsun 240Z with V8 from 1997 Trans Am
evildky replied to kenny_b's topic in Cars for Sale
The car pictured is a late 74 260Z or a 75-78 280Z. The vin # for the 260Z reads "RLS30" the 280Z will read "HLS30". The remaining 6 characters are the production number and will us what year it was built.- 15 replies

I wish they had a website listing their available parts and prices. Looks to be good quality parts and no one else is making them.

Those are for the viscous?

Be weary of their captured nut locations, I had to move mine forward about 3/8"

Two banks of three. you can break it up by alternating firing order, making it 1,2,3 and 4,5,6 or alternating cylinders to equalize the fuel rail, 1,3,5 and 2,4,6.
