That's normal. Its not broken. Its probably so the timing chain can get extra lube or just how the casting is right form the factory. Guy

Well I'm getting very close to having the whole body in primer and ready to paint! The biggest thing has been molding in the rear spoiler that I got from MSA. It was a 1 piece spoiler but I cut it into 3 pieces and I am molding on the back of the car. Getting it to fit just right has been a long and boring process but I am now seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! I just have to layer it with some body filler to smooth it out and then I can finish my front fenders and primer the whole car! You can just see the spoiler in this pic. Its kind of like a "duck tail!" Pictures a little blurry but you can get the full view(camera phone pics). Guy:rockon:

:lmao: That's too funny! Does she know you want to upgrader her from a SBC(small boobed chest) to a BBC(BIG boobed chest)? LOL! By the way SB...... Guy -
I know what you mean by giving away your services.... As and autotech on a "flat rate" pay scale I am constently doing things for free. It's not nearly as bad as it was when I was working for Dodge(now at Nissan) but you still get those people who don't understand the concept of 3year/36,000mile warrenty. They come in with 45,000 miles on it and expect use to fix it for free because "it's just out of warrenty." Just out of warrenty my as$, your 9,000 miles out of warrenty! I guess maybe they should have bought and extended warrenty. Sure they think they are just screwing the dealership by tring to get something for nothing, but they are really screwing me because I don't get paid because Nissan wont cover it but the service writer wants to help them because he wants to look good! Do you think I care that after 45,000 miles your dash has a squeak in it? NOPE! If you want to pay to have us look at I'm more than happy fix that squeak but if you "just want me to take a quick look at it" then you can go fly a kit! It's almost never "just a quick look!" And then I have all my friends who expect me to drop everything and go fix their cars! Yeah like I don't have anything else to do in my spare time! It would be different if they had some way to pay me back but they don't really have any that I want or need them to help me with. Yeah they are my friends but I'm often taken advantage of because I'm a little too nice and I don't like asking for money(but I will take it if it's offered!). I agree with you guys some people need help but most don't, most are just cheap or lazy! Guy

Ok what type of P/S system do you have? You made it sound like you have a reciprocating ball type steering system. Do you have the large gear box on the drivers fender or a rack and pinion? If you have a gear box then the JTR mounts still wont work with their headers. Guy

Why do you want to use this fuel controller when you can buy software that allows you to edit the whole PCM for like $90(tunercat). I know you already have it but it seems like "waste of time" when you can get good software for cheap. If you have a laptop and a wideband 02 sensor your pretty much set to go. Guy

The only way to use a header with the reciprocating ball type P/S system is to build one. I believe you can use the "old ram horn" style manifolds on both sides. There is not a set of headers that will fit our car unless you have the power rack and pinion set up from the 82-83 280zx. It would probably be cheaper and easier to have some make you a header(unless your up to the task). I built one for my car. It was very time consuming thats for sure but atlest now I have 2 headers! (Its JETHOT COATED now though,so its nice looking:-) ) Guy

Ok well I know that a G-tech is not perfect by any means but it has shown to be pretty close.... My car runs 12.496@112.59 (1.962s 60') but its not a stock motor. I have the LT4 hotcam(pretty small cam actually), ported stock heads,1.6RR, 11:1 compression, electric water pump, upgraded fuel system,36 lbs injectors,58mm throttle body, and custom tuning(just a basic tune though/still needs fine tuning), and I replaced the R180 with a R200(3.55 gears). I haven't actually got it down the 1/4 mile yet but if I can't get into the 11's with sticky tires and some practice I'm going to go with a bigger cam that is more suited to my heads. No nitrious though because I didn't build my motor for it. Oh and I have the T56 tranny. A stock LT1 should get you 13's pretty easy. Guy

I have pics of my header on my website. That's the only thing you can do for a 280ZX with reciprocating ball type steering(big gear box on drivers side fender). If you have the power rack and pinion in your car you can buy headers from JTR. Guy

Why dont you just down size a pic of your favorite Z and email it to your phone? That's what I do when I was a certain pic on my phone.

That's awesome! I would do the same thing if the situation fell into my lap! I would have burned that Honda to the ground though! What are they going to do call the cops on you and tell them that while trying to steal your car you caught them and beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of them and then burned their car to the ground? LOL Guy -
How many Track 350Z guys have blown thier clutch out?
80LS1T replied to 240ZR's topic in Non Tech Board
Man I hate dealerships like that! It makes the good dealerships look like crap too! They really don't have a choice if they want to fix it or not, its under the 12month 12,000 mile warrenty(same as brakes). Don't worry they'll fix it. They don't have to make any calls to Nissan for this because its only like a $1000 if they replace the flywheel, pressure plate, and disc. You don't need to call Nissan for mechanical stuff unless it goes over $3000! Call them up and tell them to get going on it or there's going to be issues! Guy -

Yeah the 03's have a lot of tranny problems. Nissan suppo sedly fixed them for the 04+ but we have seen a couple 04's with griding in 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th gears. We also had one guy who burned up his clutch in 2700 miles! Sounds like you need to bleed your clutch but you might have burned it up? Guy(nissan tech) -
These are mass produced fiberglass pieces and your putting it on a 26 year old car...its not going to be perfect. Yeah you can just bolt it on but it wont fit 100% perfect, just depends how nice you want it to look when your done I guess. I have the same kit for my car and the side skirts were warped a little so I had to really glue them down. Also when I got the kit there were a few spots where the pieces must have gotten dropped during shipping and the fiberglass got damaged so I had to repair that too. Its not really a big deal though because getting the pieces to fit is just part of the proccess. If you go with a flexable urethan kit like one from "Victoria British" the test fitting isn't such a big deal because the urethan bends pretty easy. Fiberglass doesn't like to bend so getting the pieces to fit properly isnt as easy. Guy

Ok so I thought my roomate was getting a S&W but he actually got a Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 MAG. Mine is the Taurus Raging Bull .454. (Ruger on the left and Taurus on the right) ^^^These are the "hunting bullets" that I am going to use. Man these suckers kick like a mule! ^^^These are the .45 Colt bullets that I will use to practice for now. They don't really have any kick. Are these enough to kill a deer? I don't know what kind of speeds they are shooting at? ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^THE RAGING BULL!^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
