  1. Crys sent me this at lunch, didn't see it posted yet, just though it was interesting. From Crystal (My wife) Gives new meaning to "hybrid" z lol http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-13746_7-10233954-48.html?tag=newsCategoryArea.1
  2. This unit sounds like a good alternative to the more expensive Quaife. This post has been a good read. Thanks guys. How many miles do you guy's have on this unit? Anybody with 350+ Ft/Lbs on one?
  3. Well, last year i went with the duct tape solution which has worked out OK but it's not perfect by any means. Still looking for a satisfactory Edelbrock solution.
  4. No, we typically use bud-light. Basically it makes the marg's nice and frothy. Any other type of beer would probably add too much beer flavor IMO. I'm not really a light beer drinker but they are handy for these marg's. If you try it, let us know how they turn out.
  5. Almost Perfect! WE make ours the same with 2 small adjustments, both add a bit of juice as mentioned above. Also, this might seem obvious but the 6oz. minute maid can is your measuring cup for the tequila and the 3sec.
  6. A decently built WC T-5 should hold up just fine. There are lots of options for them so you should be able to tailor build it to suit your needs. Prices depend on what you put into it but you should be able to put one together for well under 1k if you find a cheap donor trans. But I am from Oklahoma, so take what you want from it
  7. It's the first episode, I think it's towards the end. It's in SLOW-MO and is PUKING coolant all over the road. Still pretty cool clip
  8. Sorry, I STILL have not wired up my wipers as of yet, so they are not hooked up.
  9. Great thread and great insight too. This stuff is what makes me tick, love it. Right now I'm in over my head doing a complete kitchen remodel. Hopefully I'll have pics up by Thanksgiving I should be able to pick up at least one specialty tool durring this job that I don't already have
  10. NO Bandit refrence??? My opinion, MORE than AWESOME, but I have a soft spot for 2nd gen F-Bodies...
  11. Agreed. I had something similar happen quite awhle ago but my insurance co. told me not to worry about it. The lady was actually calling me at my house and stuff. Anyway, I don't think anything actually came of it, but it was wierd. Sucks they sent a subpoena, but don't sweat it. Just tell the truth and whatever happens happens. Good luck
  12. I've been there a couple of times, like Jim stated, take a wind breaker It's a pretty little town, some pretty good food if you look hard enough.
  13. There is a pretty decent thread on carpet kits, it covers at least 2 differnt ones, don't remember if one was the MSA kit or not. Search around a bit in the interior section, you should come across it, it should have posts within the last month or so.
  14. Any shots of in-process work or the foam you used?
  15. At first I used the stock Z control valve too, should work fine for you. Mine was leaking so I replace it with a 1/4 turn ball valve.
  16. My HF jack has finally died, I'have had it for at least 7 years or so. The seals have gone bad and it slowly looses fluid. I've bled it out twice and it only lasts about 2 or 3 lifts after each, time for a new one.
  17. Looks like a shaving off an engine lathe! Break a piston ring and gouge the cyl wall? Or something simular, but equally disheartening. Hope it's nothing as serious Terry...sheesh.
  18. SOOOOooooo COOOooool My ONLY comment is to loose the red and blue fittings, replace them with satin alum, ss, or something like that. Very cool
  19. You also need to read this... http://forums.hybridz.org/announcement.php?f=93&a=2 Especially #4
  20. MilesZ, Any update? I'm having the same issue.
  21. regaurdless of how much HP a SU motor will put out.. A $10K motor would never look like that. I'm not saying it has to be flashy or pretty, but at the bare minimum the parts would be clean if not completly spotless. If they aren't then the guy is either lying about the $ spent, or didn't bother to take care of it. Either way you don't want it...
  22. I used a sawzall to cut out the tub, using the lip at the guide, then used the tub as a template to cut out some 16ga sheet and welded it up. BUZY, do you have any pics or other info on your fuel cell and the box you have it sitting in? I like it a lot, looks mechanical
