Cool question. I just breifly thought about it. It would require some modification but certainly not beyond the scope of some people on this site. Design a feasible layout using the stock Z strut tubes and lower suspension. Cut off the top of the stock strut housings at the correct height, weld on a machined pivot and bearing boss for an upper A-arm. Weld some reinforced mount points on the inner fender for the inner A-arm bushings. The toughest part is finding a spring strut combo that can fit diagonally from the outer LCA to the inner A-arm. It would be really cool to see.

I think they used the flexing of the fabric of space as an analogy to help visualize the how pull of gravity relates to everything in space. Imagine a bunch of weights sitting on a rubber sheet. They sink into the sheet deeper, the larger they are. A black hole, such as cygnusx1, would flex the sheet down to infiniti forming a funnel to infiniti. Every mass has a gravitational pull proportional to it's density. Looks great. Very tasteful. I run a "mosquito net" type of screen behind the grill of all of my cars. I hold it on with zip ties. Good advice. Not only does it keep the condenser alive, it keeps muck out of all the fins of all the various heat exchangers.

I have killed my Optima twice now by accident. It's about three years old. I left the ignition switch on for over a week and the battery had ZERO life left. It took an overnight slow charge to get it to hold 12 volts again. Once it came back, it was as strong as new. I then killed it similarly again, and it came back to life again with apparently no loss in performance.

I believe that MLV will ignore mixtures after an ACCEL or DECEL event when analyzing the datalog so you can use MLV for tuning with the ACEL features ON.

Multiple squirts, divides the req_fuel into X bits and delivers it a little at a time during a cycle. Large injectors will have trouble dividing and injecting small squirts multiple times per cycle. They have trouble flowing tiny bits of fuel. Start with 1 squirt to get it running, then up it later to try it out. The benefit to multiple squirts is that the "squirt resolution" is higher and you can get better throttle response. AFAIK. Once you have it tuned on 1 squirt, all you need to do is try 1,2,3..6...etc until it won't idle anymore. Simultaneos makes all the injectors fire together, Alternating fires half of them but you need to fire the right ones depending on the firing order and injector wiring order. I'm a little foggy on this part but I wrote what I remembered. Mine stalls above 2 squirts using the 42# ford injectors. "Squirt Resolution" = better chance of squirting the fuel closer to valve open timing.

Wrap some duct tape around the ratchet swivel, and all the extension joints when working under the intake on the bolts. The tape keeps the swivel from flopping all over. Nice job! Gotta love ball bearing turbos.

Happend to me twice. Once, they gave me the option of leaving the song there as long as they could show ads pertaining to the band on the page. It was either Red Hot Chili Peppers or Rush....can't remember. Of course I said yes and I thought that was a great compromise and solution! Too bad all bands don't follow this approach. UMG had Youtube partially block one of my videos with the Counting Crows on it. They blocked it "in some countries only".

I didnt have to pull the tranny to do what I did. I find it extremely nice to be able to adjust the prop valve on the fly. I can feel the changes in real time. In the rain, I can go several turns to increase rear brake pressure because the weight transfer to the front tires is MUCH less. -
I bought a full set of 5.1 speakers from Axiom Audio (Epic 60's) in Canada about six years ago. Driven by an Onkyo 700watt surround receiver they shake the house and project an incredible soundstage. For movies (5.1) I would rate them a 9.8 out of ten, and in pure stereo, left,right,and sub, I would rate them about a 9.0 out of ten. They are aluminum and titanium cones, so they tend to appear a slightly too cold and crisp for warmer types of music like, blues. This is what makes them shine in movies though. Every detail is there. I just bought a Jazz CD, which has one of the best recordings I have ever heard, based on a reccommendation from my cousin, who is a Jazz drummer and knows the studio. He was blown away by the speakers. I balanced the system using realtraps frequency generating CD. You can download it for free to tune your crossovers and to arrange the speakers to minimize echo and bass cancellation in the listening spot. I am in the process of building some acoustic panels and bass traps for the room to even out a few holes in the bass frequencies due to room shape/size. This is a shot from a few years back after I finished building my extension, before I installed doors in the back bedroom.

I ran a new brake line to the rear of the car. I came into the passengers compartment through the firewall and ran the line under the center console. The valve is in the tunnel pocket where the ashtray sat. Then the line goes out the back of the ashtray pocket back under the car and to the rear splitter. -
I might have to get one of these just out of curiosity. No clutches? That is bizzare. This looks like a friction surface. Therefore! Maybe the balls are PULLING the drums into eachother instead of pushing them apart. The friction (clutch) is between the two drum halves.

OK I was putting my 2yr old to nap and I was sitting fully relaxed in the rocker with my eyes shut and envisioning the Balltec differential working. I think I finally nailed it down. We all had bits and peices of it correct but I was able to transpose all of our ideas into one final answer. OK: When the input shaft applies a torque to the ring gear, the ring gear torques the housing, which passes the torque through the balls into the two inner drums via the tracks. The balls force upon the angled ramps. These forces are applied evenly all the way around. Due to the angles of the grooves, some of the force tries to wedge or spread the left and right drums apart. On each outer sides of the drums are clutch plates that drag on the ring gear housing. The drums are forced outwards, with an additional force to the internal springs, into the clutchpacks to create breakaway friction. The ramps are angled steeply in the forward direction so they apply more force on the clutches with more forward torque. In the reverse torque direction (engine braking), the ramps are shallower so that a factor less of force goes into spreading apart the drums. Resulting in less pressure into the clutches. During neutral input torque (neutral coasting), the breakaway torque comes only from the internal springs. The left and right wheels can smoothly spin opposite from eachother and that has no effect on the breakaway torque. Breakway Torque is the sum of the torque being input to the unit causing the drums to spread apart, plus the force from the internal springs. So minimum breakaway torque is the force from the springs. Maximum breakaway torque happens when the motor is making maximum + or - torque.
