I'm finally getting motivated to start painting my car with the "roller" method, but the local lowe's and home depot's only carry a few of the colors that are shown on the rustoleum website. does anyone know where to buy the high performance enamel online? Or are there any paint stores that carry this brand of paints? I'm looking for charcoal gray and no one around me has it

I don't believe that the MS can do this yet, you still need a WB system (innovative lm-1, lc-1 etc) to do this. They are working on a PWC that will be able to hook up directly to the WB sensor, and do the calculations.

Did you forget about the VR6? some people have twin turbocharged the '6 and gotten some crazy power numbers.

Well, I ran a 2.5" straight out exhaust (no cat no muffler and headers!) and I did not get pulled over at all. I even had to ride next to a cop on the freeway for a few minutes and nothing. I atribute this to me not doing stupid things like flooring the car for anything longer than 5 seconds or so (to pass up other cars). In essence, I know how to keep it in my pants... Ricer's with loud exhaust systems feel that they have to show off at every chance they get. After the movie I was cruising down the former street racing street, and in the oncoming lanes I saw an EVO VIII and a honda civic driving side by side. As they passed I heard the buzz of their exhaust, but nothing loud. Then about 10 seconds later I hear the wail of the civic with no muffler about 1/4 mile away. Think about that, any cop within a 1/4 mile radius could hear that guy and he's practically TRYING to get pulled over. "its not about the ride, its about the rider" <-- yes i just quoted FNF3 lol...

Is that a question? If so, yank the line from the coil to the dizzy, much easier than pulling any fuses IMO.

That makes alot more sense than only using torque plates. doesn't the top of the cylinder bore see more distortion than the lower parts of the cylinder bore? They can't replicate that with hot water.

hehe, I just got back from it. I was supposed to watch Nacho Libre but it was sold out, and I ended up getting to see FNFTD for free! As I rolled down in neutral from the 7th floor of the theater's parking garage, I couldn't help but notice all the rice lining the walls... There are ways to check the spring rate with a measuring tape and a scale... search google, it has been done before. then post back up here with the rates, I'm curious

theres a program from the microsoft power toys. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx I'm assuming you have windows. download the image resizer. Very easy to use, and there is also a thread somewhere about it.

yep, only carburated cars have the fuel pump on the side of the head. OTM I guess your stock fuel pump is bad if the car runs like crap with out the help of the electric one

You should be careful with your car leaning out, if your fuel pump is losing power under load.

Lookin' good! Thats cool that the fairlady emblems were able to be made that way.

Also, you could pull the high tension lead, and take it with you. It is a quick way to render the car useless, unless a thief just happened to carry around an HT lead with them. I have spliced a quick disconnect into my fuel pump wiring, and it works so well, that sometimes I forget when I disconnect it and freak out for that split second before I figure it out.
