  1. I have seen two of these and I have not been able to figure out what kind of car it is... Its turbocharged with an intercooler mounted in the trunk... 2. I wonder how many saabs and isuzu's were hurt in the making of those commercials.
  3. if its the same as a laptop, i'm sure it will work.
  4. Well, I think it was executed well, but it was a bad idea to begin with. someone get this guy some wider back wheels!!!! (or spacers at least)
  5. nice vid! Good outcome, and makes me want an LS(X) even more... -oliver

    S2000 Swap

What else would you go with? CARBS?!?
  7. is that legal to be racing with the engine sticking that far out of the hood like that?
  8. I was reading through old posts and realized I didn't update this one. Turns out the voltage regulator AND the alternator had gone bad. I also ended up replacing the alternator (with internal voltage regulator) on the eclipse I was boosting. Very expensive ordeal, and I will NEVER boost a car straight to the battery ever again!!!
  9. Ok got around to bleeding the whole system, VERY thoroughly. I still get the same feel of the pedal, It will go down about half way, but if I stab the pedal first and then hit it again, all is normal. I have decided to take the brake MC back to oreilly's as it has a lifetime warranty, And I am definitely suspecting it. I really want to get my brakes working properly!!! -Oliver
  10. It looks good, but sounds like if you try it again it you will get everything perfect. Is there a way to do what you did and vacuum bag it?
  11. on our ohc engines the "lifter" is the part that is bolted to the head that the rocker arm pivots around. On some P90a heads this is hydraulic, and on others it is manualy adjustable and solid.
  12. sounds like fun!! can't wait to see videos of this indoor dirt bike racing!
  13. "The holder uppers for the hatchback have lost some of their holding power" very technical.

  15. I would suggest you get a half cut. It will maximize your budget in the longrun, because all the parts you don't use you can sell later. And you will probably be using most of the parts out of it. -oliver
  16. Now that you have the roller rockers, have you considered taking one of them apart to perhaps try to spot the problem that malvern had initialy? The quote that has been going around is that these things lasted for a few hours of racing only. Either way keep us posted!!! I will be following this thread. -Oliver
  17. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=100770&highlight=roller+rocker found this thread, similar discussion -Oliver
  18. yeah, but don't you need cam designed for a roller rocker? -Oliver
  19. There have been several threads like this. The only reason why people actually responded the first time around was because the question was about an engine that would rev to 11000rpms!!! Ok now for the "revised" question, You can get a sr20de, ka24de, ca18de, even a 13b rotary that will all make good power in N/A trim, and will make the Z a fun (lighter) car. All of those IMHO would only be worth it (compared to the stock engine or a fuel injected L6 N/A engine) if you turbocharged them, because the stock engine will usually exceed the output of those. (N/A of course) Oh yeah, I guess you should take the 13b off that list if you want reliability. -Oliver
  20. I was fortunate enough to get a ride around in an elise at houston's Motor Sport Ranch. The driver (extremely good driver) would turn the steering wheel in to the corner in mid corner and nothing would happen. He was able to kick the tail out with application of the throttle without a problem. He even went as far to show me how much it understeered by jerking the steering wheel towards the apex of the corner in the middle of the corner repeatedly. The car just stayed on its line. -Oliver ps. "Extige" = Exige
  21. How about the 30th? The question is... where would be a convenient place for everyone to meet?
